At present,our country has constructed the overall framework of Chinese students' key competencies.And we started to establish a new curriculum system based on key competencies.Chemistry is one of the scientific courses in high school.Chemistry readings are kinds of chemistry course resources,which play an important role in cultivating students' qualities.Writting chemistry readings that can cultivate high school students' key competencies takes a practical theoretical part in establishing a new chemistry course.The research is writting a chemistry reading and it is based on many existing results concluding chemical competencies.The reading is aboout"Periodicity of Elements".The book aims to complement each other with chemistry textbooks in order to cultivate high school students' key competencies relying on detailed and scientific knowledge,with its own fun,readable and other advantages.At last,We could ask some students and teachers to collect their ideas about the book so as to evaluate the book.It is found that the written book was scientific,readable and interesting.It can also play a positive role in cultivating students' key competencies.The research has provided the following suggestions for the writting of chemical readings based on the development of students'key competencies.We should focus on the establishment of real situations,pay attention to the preparation of chemical history,pay attention to the close relationship with the cutting-edge knowledge of chemistry,pay attention to the integration of subject knowledge,and focus on the designing of the column.
