With the deepening of the curriculum reform and the comprehensive use of the unified language textbooks,reading the whole book has become an important part of primary language learning.In addition to "intensive reading text" and "skimming text",the textbook also includes extra-curricular reading into the curriculum,to achieve extra-curricular reading curriculum.But in the actual teaching on the whole book Reading Teaching Effective Guidance Strategy is still lagging behind.I teach sixth grade,and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer is the recommended book for "Happy Reading" in the second volume of the Sixth Grade Textbook.As a front-line teacher,how to effectively guide and implement the whole book reading teaching,the author takes The Adventures of Tom Sawyer as an example and takes the students in this class as an object to carry out the practical research of the whole book reading teaching,the purpose is to explore the implementation strategy of the whole book reading,and to provide a more rich and varied organization of the whole book reading teaching.The thesis is divided into three chapters.The introduction explains the background,purpose and meaning of the research and the definition of related concepts.It also explains the current research situation at home and abroad and the research ideas and methods to be adopted.The first chapter makes clear the overall goal of the whole book reading teaching in primary schools based on the overall goal of the Compulsory Education Language Curriculum Standards(2011 edition),take The Adventures of Tom Sawyer as an example to explain the teaching objectives of the four types of courses: reading guidance,sharing and communication,creative writing and extension.The second chapter carries out the classroom design and practice of the reading teaching of the whole book of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer on the basis of the four teaching objectives.The third chapter makes a reflection on the teaching design and practice of the whole book,and puts forward some suggestions for the next time.The last part is the conclusion,which explains the gains and shortcomings of this study.According to the research of this paper,the first-line teachers can try to carry out four basic courses in the whole book Reading Teaching: Reading Guidance Class,sharing and communication class,creative writing class and extension class,according to the teaching objectives of the four basic types of teaching design richteaching activities,improve the effect of reading the whole book,cultivate the ability of students to read independently.I hope this paper can provide practical support for the research of the whole book reading teaching in primary schools.
