Since the establishment of Chinese as an independent subject,the teaching of single selected articles has occupied most of the time in Chinese teaching.But the single teaching has its own limitations,the whole book reading to a certain extent can make up for the shortcomings of the single text teaching.The promulgation of the Chinese curriculum standard for ordinary senior high schools(2017 edition)has changed the state of the lack of curriculum content in the past.Whole book reading and discussion is placed at the head of the 18 learning task groups that make up the course content,and the whole book reading has become a hot topic of research.However,the research community has not given a full answer to what the whole book reading and research learning task group should be at the practical level.On the basis of investigating the present situation of the whole book reading teaching and consulting the related literature,this research tries to find the teaching basis of the learning task group of the whole book reading and discussion from the two aspects of the curriculum standard and the characteristics of the students' learning situation,and finds that the special topic teaching is an important way to break through the difficulties of the whole book reading teaching and to implement the new curriculum standard.In this study,the teaching model of whole book reading and discussion learning task group is constructed from four aspects: the choice of text,the determination of target,the creation of situation and the design of activity.taking Earthbound China as an example,the instructional design of whole book reading and discussion learning task group is carried out with the intention of whole book reading and discussion.The teaching of learning task groups provides an operational example.This study consists of five parts.The first part is the introduction part,which mainly introduces the origin of the research,the existing domestic and international research horizontal or vertical overview,research ideas and research methods.The second part is the analysis of the data,in the teachers and students on the whole book reading questionnaire,understanding the whole book reading teaching situation,analysis of the causes of the problem.The third part is the basis of the instructional design of the learning task group of the whole book reading and research,which is mainly composed of the curriculum standards and learning situation before the unified edition of teaching materials is issued.The fourth part is the model construction of the learning task group of the whole book reading and research.The special topic learning is the important grasp of the implementation of the learning task group of the wholebook reading and research.The instructional design mainly starts from four aspects:the choice of the text,the determination of the goal,the creation of the situation and the design of the activity.In the fifth part,taking the whole book reading and discussion as the center and relating to other learning task groups,such as contemporary cultural participation,cross-media reading and communication,speculative reading and expression,practical reading and communication,scientific and cultural studies and academic studies,the author takes Earthbound China as an example to carry out the instructional design of special learning.In this study,the model of thematic learning teaching of "whole book reading and discussion" learning task group is constructed.Taking Earthbound China as an example,this research tries to complete the teaching design,hoping to provide some ideas for senior high school Chinese teachers in teaching.However,because the instructional design has not been put into practice,it is not perfect,in the future the actual teaching will be adjusted to correct.
