This study on the teaching of "whole book reading" is the author's use of off-campus training opportunities in the subject Chinese teaching course.Chosed Tadian Middle School in Eshan County as a practical point and practiced " My Memories of Old Beijing" as teaching content.The thesis formed around this practice consists of five parts.The introduction first explains the background and reason of the research,then reviews the literature about the teaching of "whole book reading" and the significance of My Memories of Old Beijing by some domestic scholars who read before the research,and finally describes the research ideas and writing methods of this study.The first chapter mainly solves some practical problems that need to be faced in the development of research,including the definition of basic concepts,the basic situation of schools and students involved in the teaching environment,and the choice of edition of My Memories of Old Beijing.The second chapter mainly sorts out the two basic theoretical systems supporting this research,the reading dialogue theory commonly used in reading teaching and the three types of theories commonly used in reading teaching,namely text research,problem exploration and activity experience.The third chapter is a narrative record of the research and practice based on the first and second chapters,including the complete curriculum design and the corresponding practice process,which also runs through the reflection formed in the practice process.The fourth chapter is a reflective summary of the research.It summarizes the reasons for the smooth progress of the research,and also explains the regrets and confusions after the research.The conclusion talks about the extended significance of this study.
