STEM education is an organic whole based on the four disciplines of science,technology,engineering and mathematics,integrating multidisciplinary and multi-disciplinary knowledge and abilities with various emerging educational concepts,educational models and teaching methods,and even multiple core literacy.STEM education originated in the United States in the 1980 s.Under the impetus of technological change and the fourth industrial revolution,it has become the key to cultivating the core literacy of future innovative talents and enhancing national competitiveness.China,which is currently weak in education,urgently needs to cultivate a large number of high-quality STEM teachers,improve the teaching ability of teachers STEM,and promote the effective implementation and healthy development of STEM education.This study summarizes the research status of STEM education and teaching ability connotation,structure and influencing factors through literature review.The investigation analyzes the status quo and influencing factors of STEM teaching ability of middle school teachers.At present,the multi-disciplinary knowledge of middle school teachers is insufficient,and the ability of STEM curriculum development,implementation and evaluation is not high.Cognitive interest,policy system,training and training,resource support and environmental atmosphere are the influencing factors for the development of STEM teaching ability of secondary school teachers.High-quality and efficient training and training is an important way for middle school teachers to improve their STEM teaching ability.On the basis of the investigation and analysis,the case study of the US UTeach project and the outstanding teachers of the Pudong New Area of Shanghai went to the US training program,summed up the successful experience and enlightenment of the existing STEM teacher training case,and optimized the teaching ability of the multi-agent to cultivate the environment and the whole The orientation promotes the independent improvement of teachers' teaching ability.It provides effective strategies for the improvement of STEM teaching ability of middle school teachers,such as policy system guarantee,capital technology blessing,social synergy promotion,scientific evaluation incentive and educational value understanding,and interdisciplinary team teaching and research.
