Mental ability is an important part of competitive ability.The quality of mental ability training of athletes is related to whether they can achieve excellent results in the competition.The training of athletes' mental ability has obvious characteristics of item group in content,method and arrangement.If the differences of different item groups can be fully considered,and targeted mental ability training and pre-competition mental ability training can be organized,it will help the athletes to form the best competitive state and give full play to their sports level in the competition.Among many psychological factors,anxiety is closely related to athletic performance.Under the guidance of suggestion language,imagery training is a method to repeatedly imagine a certain movement or movement situation in the mind,so as to improve motor skills and emotional control ability.It can organically combine psychological function with physical training,and give full play to the role of psychological function in sports.This paper adopts the research methods of questionnaire survey,literature review,experiment methods and other research methods,and uses objective physiological indicators EEG to compare the effects of image training on anxiety of athletes of different item groups,thus drawing the following conclusions:1.Imagery training can effectively relieve anxiety.2.Imagery training can improve the ability to process visual stimuli and effectively improve auditory recognition and memory.3.Different groups of athletes who have been trained for a long time can improve their anxiety in different ways.After a long training period,the measurement athletes were trained to improve their anxiety by changing visual stimuli and improving their cognitive and perceptual abilities.After a long period of training,classification athletes can improve their anxiety by improving their attention and auditory recognition.After a long training period,hit athletes can improve their anxiety by changing their visual stimuli and individual attention.After training for a long time,classified athletes can improve their anxiety by changing their auditory recognition and memory.After a long training period,the winning athletes can improve their anxiety by changing their body perception.4.There are gender differences in the effects of imagery training on anxiety.During the imagery training,male athletes improved their anxiety by changing the auditory recognition and memory function and controlling the motor sensation of fine muscles.Female athletes can improve anxiety by changing visual stimuli during imagery training.
