With the arrival of the wave of artificial intelligence,youth programming education has been widely concerned.Programming education encourages young people to creatively understand,analyze,and solve practical problems with the help of interdisciplinary knowledge by cultivating young people’s computer thinking and creative ability,stimulating their inherent learning motivation,and developing all-round capabilities such as teamwork and communication.At the same time,Python has become one of the most popular programming languages with its easy to learn and rich libraries,and has gradually entered primary and secondary school classrooms in Zhejiang,Chongqing,Sichuan and other regions.STEAM,as a multidisciplinary education integrating science,technology,engineering,art and mathematics,is regarded as an educational model for training innovative talents and has received much attention all over the country,the aim is to cultivate the ability of the teenagers to use scientific thinking to explore,propose,analyze,solve and verify problems comprehensively.The main research contents of this thesis are as follows:(1)this research based on the relevant theoretical basis,junior high school programming related curriculum guidance,learner characteristics and existing junior high school Python textbooks,formulated the overall ideas and principles of the case design of this thesis,and determined the junior high school Python curriculum cases based on the STEAM educational philosophy,teaching content and teaching goals,and constructed a teaching model of "junior high school Python curriculum based on STEAM educational philosophy ".(2)this research designed and developmented Seven cases,such as " Drawing Pentagrams","Drawing Party Emblems","Dictation of Words" and "Analysis of Scores",case resources including instructional design,teaching PPT,micro-lesson,and experimental guidance,etc.(3)this research based on the constructed teaching model,applied the cases to the teaching practice of the "Information Technology" course in the second grade of a junior high school in Chongqing.Before and after the teaching practice,the students were investigated by questionnaire.In the process of practice,the students were observed in class and their works were evaluated.After the practice,the teachers were interviewed.Through SPSS to analyze the questionnaire data,to understand the students’ learning situation,combined with the learning effect and actual teaching situation,to further optimize the developed cases and the teaching mode constructed.Through a semester of teaching practice and analysis of teaching effect,the feasibility of Python curriculum design based on STEAM educational philosophy is verified,at the same time,it shows that using Python curriculum case and teaching mode based on STEAM educational philosophy improves students’ ability to solve comprehensive problems.
