The global labor force structure is undergoing profound changes driven by technology,and the demand for innovative talents in the world is increasingly fierce.It is an important task for all levels of education to cultivate talents with the ability of finding problems,solving problems,critical thinking,collaborative learning,innovation and other high-level thinking skills.At present,the primary and secondary schools are carrying out a new round of curriculum reform.Information technology course,as a compulsory course in primary and secondary schools,is forward-looking and practical.Researchers at home and abroad have explored the course target orientation,course content structure,course mode practice and course evaluation implementation of information technology courses.App Inventor is an elective course in information technology,which plays an important role in cultivating students' ability to find problems,solve problems,innovate and create,and think logically.Programming teaching characteristics,this study will stick STEAM concept to programming courses teaching education,respectively from the curriculum target,curriculum content,teaching activities,the platform and teaching resources,teaching evaluation elements such as design,development,based on the concept of STEAM App Inventor course case studies,applied in junior high school and to carry out the teaching practice,to explore the application effect of the design and development course.This paper is mainly divided into the following six chapters:The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly summarizes the research background,research issues,research status at home and abroad,research purposes and significance,research contents and methods.The second chapter is the concept definition and theoretical basis,which mainly defines and expounds the core concepts and theoretical basis of STEAM education and programming education involved in the research.The third chapter is the App Inventor course design based on STEAM concept.Combining with STEAM concept,it analyzes and designs from the aspects of demand analysis,goal,content framework,teaching activities,teaching platform and resources,teaching evaluation,etc.The fourth chapter is the development of App Inventor lesson examples based on STEAM concept,mainly based on the course design proposed in the third chapter,the development of the corresponding lesson resources,including lesson plans,PPT,etc.The fifth chapter is the application and effect analysis of App Inventor lesson based on STEAM concept.This study will carry out three rounds of research in Shun Feng junior high school for 12 weeks and carry out teaching effect analysis.The experimental results show that this course can stimulate students' interest in programming learning,cultivate students' higher-order thinking ability such as problem-finding,problem-solving,innovation and creation,etc.Chapter six summarizes the results of this study,puts forward the existing problems and prospects for the follow-up research.
