"Primary and Middle School Information Technology Curriculum Standards" pays more attention to the student's subjective position,advocates starting with interest,taking activities as the carrier,and paying great attention to practice and experience.There are many problems in traditional cramming method of teaching which is teacher-oriented,such as the sole form of class,boring course content,and difficulty in catching students' attention.It seriously affect the teaching effect of the classroom and the learning effectiveness of students.Gamification has a natural appeal that can motivate participants,increase process participation,and improve performance.However,gamification can not be simply applied to the teaching process.It must be associated with the teaching objectives,teaching content,and teaching scenarios to carry out feasible design and implementation.This article takes gamification teaching of junior middle school information technology course as the research object,and focus on instructional design and apply instructional design to instructional practice..The thesis is divided into three parts: research foundation,five-step instructional design method and case practice:(1)Research foundation.By using the literature research method,the research background of gamification teaching,the current research situation at home and abroad are sorted out,and the purpose and content of this research are clarified.According to further in-depth analysis,clarify the core concepts,basic theories and supporting technologies related to gamification teaching,and determine the boundaries of this research.(2)Five-step instructional design method.Combining the theoretical basis of gamification teaching in Chapter 2 with the reality of junior middle school information technology courses,a five-step teaching design method is proposed,and some details about five aspects of foreword analysis,situation creation,activity design,comprehensive evaluation,and reflection improvement are elaborated.(3)Case practice.A five-step instructional design method is used for curriculumdesign,and instructional design and instructional cases are produced.Taking the 2022 students of F middle school as the implementation object,the classroom observation method is employed to teaching implementation.Unstructured teacher interviews and structured student questionnaire surveys were utilized to carry out pro-and post-test analysis.Effects of gamification teaching were analyzed from the three dimensions of teacher and student attitudes to the course,course learning,and advantages and disadvantages of classroom design.And improve teaching design and teaching cases.The research results show that gamification teaching based on the five-step instructional design method has a certain effect.By applying to the teaching practice of junior middle school information technology courses,it is concluded that it can effectively increase students' interest in information technology courses,effectively improve students' attention to the classroom,and to some extent improve students' ability to solve practical problems through program design.
