The new curriculum reform proposes to change the status quo that the traditional curriculum overemphasizes mechanical learning,rote learning and accepting learning,and should let students become the "masters" of the classroom.Now the education reform pays attention to the study initiative power in the student's hand.Create a classroom with student-led,teacher-led.In addition,with the development of information technology,the importance of information technology courses in schools has increased significantly.In the new curriculum standard of information technology in 2017,new core literacy was put forward.In order to cultivate students' core literacy,we need to change the traditional way of teaching,encourage students to participate actively.Only when students participate in the classroom,can they cultivate and exercise their core literacy of information technology.How to let students participate actively in the classroom is a problem that every subject and every teacher has been paying attention to.In the subject of information technology,students' participation in classroom teaching content is not very high due to the reason that students are not under pressure to enter higher education.Therefore,it is necessary to enhance the interest of the classroom to attract students to participate in game-based teaching is a very good way to solve this situation.Game-based teaching is not simply a traditional teaching mode in which game links are added,It is a kind of teaching mode that teachers choose appropriate game teaching strategies to design teaching content after analyzing teaching content,students' characteristics and game content.The aim of game-based teaching is to finish the teaching content.The game is not only for the interest,but also for attracting the students to participate and conquering the teaching goal.Therefore,it is necessary for students to participate in the specific situation,influencing factors and how to use game teaching to improve the participation of students in junior high school information technology classroom.Firstly,the paper uses the literature research method to sort out and analyze the current research situation of students'classroom participation and game-based teaching at home and abroad,However,there are not many researches on the current situation of game-based teaching to enhance classroom participation.After confirming the research topic,the concept of student participation and game-based teaching is defined and related theories are summarized to provide theoretical support for the research.In this paper,two classes of a Middle School in Xi'an,Shaanxi Province were selected as the research object,and the status quo of the two classes'it classroom participation was investigated.Through interviews with students,it is found that there are two major factors contributing to the low participation of students:On the one hand,students do not think that the information technology course is important,there is no pressure to study hard,and on the other hand,teachers' teaching methods are single,the classroom is slightly boring,and there is no great attraction for students.Through the analysis of the current situation of students' participation and the effectiveness of game teaching,the paper puts forward the general mode and specific strategies of game teaching to improve the participation of information technology classroom in junior high school.And then carry out a two-month implementation,and then conduct a post-test of class participation for the experimental class and the control class.The conclusions are as follows:game-based teaching can effectively enhance the junior high school information technology classroom participation.The innovation of the paper lies in the application of game-based teaching in information technology classroom.Through the investigation of the present situation of students' information technology classroom participation and the combination of the game teaching mode.The game teaching strategy is formulated to improve the junior high school information technology classroom participation strategy,and the strategy is applied to the actual game teaching,which has practical guiding significance for information technology teaching.
