A Study On The Lack Of Sexual Protection Consciousness Of Migrant Children By Growth Group

According to a report released by the girls' protection fund of the China children's culture and art foundation,there were 317 cases of children under the age of18 that were reported publicly by the media in 2018,with more than 750 victims.With the change and development of China's social and economic structure,the migrant population has increased rapidly,resulting in a special group of migrant children.Most of their parents are busy with their livelihood,their education level is lower,their mobility is very strong,and lack of supervision and attention to their children.Mostly ignoring their children's education,especially the lack of attention in the aspect of sexual health education,make them generally lack of sexual protection consciousness.The lack of awareness to the migrant children's healthy growth and development will bring a series of obstacles,but also makes them vulnerable to sexual assault of one of the group.This study took the migrant children project where the author practiced as the research background.Through getting along with the service objects for a period of time,and penetrating into their living environment,the author finds that the majority of migrant children living in this community have the problem of lack of sexual protection awareness due to the lack of necessary sexual health education for children.Migrant children are in the golden period of learning and growing up.Migrant children are in the golden period of learning and growth.The author will select and recruit 10 migrant children with severe lack of sexual protection consciousness from the community and intervene in this problem with the model of growth group based on the social learning theory.This growth group consists of seven group activities and five main stages.The first stage is the preparation stage of the group.The author collects information by issuing questionnaires and interviews.The questionnaires are measured from the two dimensions of sexual protection knowledge and skills.Ten children with low score and serious lack of sexual protection awareness are recruited from the questionnaires.The second stage is the initial stage of the group,mainlyincluding the first group activity,which is mainly to guide the group members to get familiar with each other and make the group contract,and to lay a foundation for the follow-up activities by directly strengthening and standardizing the behavior of the group members.The third stage is the middle stage of the group,mainly including the second and third group activities,through observation and learning,to strengthen the group members' learning of knowledge about children's sexual health education and help children establish gender awareness.The fourth stage is the later stage of the group,which is the transition stage from knowledge-based learning to skill based learning,mainly including the fourth,fifth and sixth sections of group activities.Through alternative reinforcement and direct reinforcement,such as scenario simulation and other diverse group activities,help the group members to correctly understand their privacy parts and further master the relevant content of privacy part protection.The fifth stage is the end of the group and the last group activity.It mainly helps the group members to consolidate the content about children's gender awareness and privacy protection through observation and learning,and deal with the feelings of separation.Based on the successful completion of seven group activities,the author evaluated the results of the growing group and analyzed the results of the pre-test and post test questionnaires,mainly including the knowledge and skills of sexual protection.
