Reading teaching is the most important part of Chinese teaching.Through reading,we can enrich students' knowledge and cultivate their aesthetic taste.Reading teaching has always been concerned.But in reality,the situation of reading teaching is not optimistic.The amount of students' reading is very small.Many students are required to read what they want to read,let alone some students can not finish reading well in class.In order to stimulate students' interest in reading,Chinese scholars are constantly exploring new theories and methods.In recent years,the "group reading" teaching mode has provided an opportunity for the reform of reading teaching.The teaching mode of "group reading" has expanded the reading quantity of students and really exercised their reading ability.The Chinese curriculum standard of compulsory education mentions that "reading is the individual behavior of students","we should pay attention to the cultivation of students' extensive reading interest and expand the reading range",and the teaching design of "1 + X" in the compilation of junior middle school Chinese textbooks is also to guide students to read widely,which proves that group reading teaching is necessary to apply to junior middle school Chinese classroom.Therefore,this paper takes group reading as the research object to explore how to apply group reading teaching to junior high school modern prose teaching.To explore the application of group reading mode in junior high school prose teaching,first of all,it is necessary to clarify the concept of group reading,understand the principle of group reading;clarify the proportion and classification of modern prose in teaching materials,on this basis,take appropriate research methods to study,and put forward the strategy of implementing group reading teaching method in junior high school prose teaching.To use group reading mode in prose teaching,we need to make clear the four elements of group reading: topic design,text selection,question design and operation mode.In the process of group reading,we should deal with the relationship between single text and group text,the relationship between breadth and depth,and the relationship between speed and efficiency,rather than taking group reading class as a formal class.Finally,according to the strategy design a complete modern prose group reading teaching program,research and analyze it,get some experience enlightenment,and have a whole grasp of the development of group reading teaching.Through the exploration of group reading teaching mode,on the one hand,it can expand students' reading capacity and improve their reading ability;on the other hand,it can provide teachers with new teaching ideas,fully guide students to read correctly,so as to improve teaching quality.
