The primary goal of talent training in the 21 st century is core quality,while the era of "Internet +" demands innovative talents.The talent cultivation strategy of core accomplishment can effectively promote the social and economic construction,improve the quality of talent cultivation,improve the educational environment,enhance the national competitiveness,and accelerate the pace of innovative talent cultivation.Against this background,STEAM education came into being.As a new educational concept,STEAM education can effectively cultivate innovative talents in the form of comprehensive activities.At the same time,through the development of STEAM activities,students can achieve the development of a variety of abilities.As a way of thinking,design thinking is generally regarded as a way of thinking or a plan that can help cultivate students' comprehensive problem-solving ability.It is a belief system that designers actively change the world and a methodology on how to make innovation and creation.In order to realize the cultivation and promotion of middle school students' design thinking,this study analyzes the necessity of middle school students' design thinking by combing and analyzing the current situation and dimensions of the cultivation of middle school students' design thinking.Through the integration of STEAM concept design thinking model construction.On this basis,the author compares and analyzes the similarities between the two to complete the construction of the design thinking cultivation mode incorporating STEAM concept,and conducts relevant practice teaching according to the mode proposed in this study.The teaching activities are mainly in accordance with the time context,aiming at the cultivation of middle school students' design thinking,and supported by the STEAM education concept,to design a comprehensive practice activity that conforms to the development law and cognitive characteristics of students--"small campus designer".Data were collected in the process of the activity,questionnaire survey and multidimensional interview of teachers and students were conducted after the activity,and the rationality and feasibility of the constructed model were verified based on students' log records and feedback of practical activities.In the seven-week practical teaching,students' feedback was collected and analyzed through questionnaires and interview records.Teaching results show that the STEAM combine education concept and design thinking,constructed the concept of the fusion of the STEAM design training mode of thinking,with support from the concrete teaching practice can effectively promote the students' design ideas,cultivate consciousness ofits design,in this paper,the practice of case is to verify the feasibility of training mode of study and put forward.
