With the demand for innovative talents in the society,STEAM-based education reform is being studied in various subject areas.Physics is the foundation of all natural sciences.It is imperative to infiltrate the STEAM concept in physics.The middle school physics experiment integrates instrument structure,principle theory,hands-on operation and data analysis,and it is easy to penetrate the various elements of STEAM.Through the experimental process,students are trained to understand scientific principles,master design and operation techniques,learn mathematical expression physics theory and data processing methods,expand project design related to experimental principles,and analyze life,production practical applications and scientific frontiers.The integration of physics and engineering,the beauty of art can also penetrate into all aspects of the experiment.This thesis is divided into two parts:theoretical research and practical research.Based on the research of STEAM literature,the theoretical part explains the concrete manifestation of infiltration science,technology,engineering,mathematics and artistic literacy in middle school physics experiment teaching,and constructs an experimental teaching mode based on STEAM.It concludes that it is relatively mature.Three kinds of STEAM-based teaching forms:science and technology games,special design and production,and small projects to infiltrate classroom teaching.The practice research part is based on the STEAM small project penetration experiment teaching form which is easy to implement in the middle school physics classroom.Two cases are designed and practiced in the middle school classroom,and the practice effect is analyzed.The research shows that the small design related to the experimental principle Students can improve their physics learning interests.Students can design projects to train students'engineering literacy.Students can improve their technical literacy.Students appreciate each other's works and train students' appreciation of experimental works.However,they are also found to be limited by class time.Insufficient penetration of scientific elements and mathematical elements.In view of the problems in practice,we have designed a case of "STEAM-based electromagnets and electromagnetic relays" that can fully reflect the five elements of STEAM,in order to learn from the teachers who implement STEAM experiment teaching.
