The rejuvenation of the country depends on education.The development of education is inseparable from a high-quality teacher team.The professional development of rural teachers is the key to improving the quality of education and achieving fair education.Therefore,the author focuses his research on the professional development of the beginning Chinese teachers in rural primary schools,and conducts follow-up investigations,hoping to contribute to the professional development of the beginning Chinese teachers in rural primary schools.After reading a lot of literature on the professional development of rural teachers and beginning Chinese teachers,the author goes to the real research site to collect information about the professional development of beginning rural Chinese teachers.This research adopts a qualitative research method.A Chinese teacher who has worked in a rural elementary school for three years is the research object.At the same time,the author also interviewed other beginning teachers of different rural elementary schools to obtain research materials.The professional development of beginning Chinese teachers has mainly gone through the stages of survival,growth,and plateau.Based on the analysis of the development processes of the researched,the problems of the professional development of the beginning Chinese teachers in rural primary schools are as follows: firstly,the teachers' awareness of their own development is not strong;Secondly,they are weak in self-learning and self-monitoring;Thirdly,their development platform is small so that teacher training lacks pertinence and effectiveness;Fourthly,the professional knowledge and practical abilities of graduate students trained by universities need to be improved;what's more government policy support is not in place and education resource allocation needs further improvements.According to the theory of professional development of teachers and the survey data,at the end of the study,the author puts forward specific suggestions for the professional development of beginning Chinese teachers in rural primary school.Firstly,the teacher himself is the key to professional development.So it is necessary to establish the concept of self-development and enhance self-learning ability.Secondly,school is a platform for teachers' professional development which means that it should provide targeted and time-effective training for beginning teachers to correctly guide them to pass their first term.Thirdly,as the source of teachers' professional development,universities must consolidate student's foundations and promote their professional knowledge and practical ability.Finally,government policy is the pillar of teacher professional development,so teachers must be scientifically oriented and escorted by policy.
