In recent years,with the development of home-school cooperation,more and more primary and secondary schools are trying to carry out an activity called parents' entering the class.This research uses the method of narrative research to focus on a parent who is involved in the activity.The researcher will show the real experience of this mother which including the reasons of his participating and the process of her practice and the actual effects of this activity.The purpose of the research is to make an reference for other practitioners.The conclusion of the research may promote the development and popularization of this activity.In terms of the reasons of parents' participating,children and schools and teachers and even parents themselves are the main factors.As far as herself is concerned,Mother W has her own needs.First,she thinks she has the responsibility to participate in this activity because of her special dignity as a member of the parent committee of the class.Second,she wants to know her daughter 's performance in school with her own eyes.Third,she wants to optimize the relationship between family and school.As far as children are concerned,Mother W 's daughter hopes her mother participate in the activity.First,she wants to gain her parents' recognition by showing her performance at school through the activity.Second,She also hopes to get more recognition from her classmates and teachers through her mother's performance.Third,she is curious about the real situation of the activity.As far as school and teachers are concerned,they think highly of school-family partnerships and they create an atmosphere to welcome parents' participating.In addition,Mother W being the ultimate candidate for the activity is the result of the teacher' sfavor for her.In terms of the the process of the activity,Mother W's class mainly involves two aspects.She needs to prepare for the lesson and teach students in the classroom.When she prepared for the lesson,Mother W downloaded rich and diverse teaching content from the internet.And the resources she choice are all based on the theme of the activity and children's interests.During the class,Mother W used fable stories to introduce concepts and she helped children to apply the knowledge through some sitcoms.Finally,she ended the activity by broadcasting songs.After class,Ms.W also expressed her reflection and comprehensive evaluation of her performance.She was generally satisfied with her activity performance,but she also realized that she was not good at management and teaching.In terms of the effects of the activity,it promotes the development of school-family partnerships and individuality.As far as school-family partnerships is concerned,the activity develops the relationship between parents and school.Through the activity,Mother W shows more consideration and respect for teachers.Meanwhile,teachers also understand the parents better.As far as the development of parent is concerned,the activity enabled Mother W to enhance her sense of self-efficacy in participating and her awareness of improving her educational abilities.In addition,the activity also improves the school's running efficiency.On the one hand,the activity helps the school to use parental resources to enrich its curriculum resources.On the other hand,the activity allows students to be more serious and focused in the classroom,which in turn improves the efficiency of school's education and teaching.The activity also reflects the lack of R elementary school at organizing and administering school-family partnerships.There are some problems in the process of the activity.First,the activity shows strong arbitrariness.Second,the democracy of the activity is still in a low level.Third,the teaching ability of parents is not very sufficient.In order to promote the development of the activity,the researchers will give some suggestions.First of all,the rules of procedure for home-school cooperation based on "equality consultation" should be formed.So the policy should strengthen the dominant position of parents in home-school cooperation.At the same time,family and school should maintain a way for mutual communication.Secondly,school should constructs a practical system which is oriented to systematization for the activity.This requires school to improve a operational mechanism of the activity,and teachers must flexibly develop and utilize parents' resources in the class.Furthermore,a supporting system for parental education with diversified subjects should be established.This not only requires school and teachers to do a good job in parent training,but also needs society to broaden the supporting network.Government,administrative department of education,community and some educational institutions should provide materials,human resources and other resources for parental education.
