Interventional Studies On The Social Work Of The Elderly Care Service In Ethnic Nursing Homes

With the acceleration of the social aging,the number of the Losing-single-child elderly,empty-nesters and widowed elderly increases year by year.In northwest China,ethnic minorities live in compact communities,and each ethnic minority has its own special ethnic habits,which makes the problem of ethnic pension different from that of other places.Northwest China has an urgent and great demand for ethnic pension service.However,pension service can only provide shelter,food and other material services,unable to meet the personalized needs of the elderly.Ethnic pension institutions are facing great opportunities and challenges.The specialization and professionalization of social work can help ethnic pension service institutions to serve the elderly better.With professional values and technical support,social work plays an irreplaceable role in non-governmental pension service institutions,which makes up for the deficiencies of methods,skills and specialization in the process of implementing social service in non-governmental pension service institutions to a large extent.At the same time,pension institutions also provide practice ground and development space for the development and construction of social work.Take the X Ethnic Nursing Home in Lanzhou,Gansu province as the object of study,this paper tries to find the consistency of values,behavioral goals and ideas between the ethnic nursing home and social work.To find out the problems existing in the ethnic pension institutions,analyze the current situation,seek the breakthrough of social work in the ethnic pension institutions,to make the social work help the ethnic nursing home develop.The first part of the article introduces the current situation and existing problems of the X Ethnic Nursing Home in Lanzhou,Gansu province.The second part is the analysis of social work intervention in the X Ethnic Nursing Home,focusing on case work method and group work method.The third part is the suggestions that social work is applied to the nursing home of X ethnic group.
