In the context of the new curriculum,the independent,cooperative and inquiry teaching method has been well-known to the majority of educators.Compared with traditional teaching pattern,the new concept recognized by the educational circle advocates that students should play a dominant role under the guidance of teachers.Now,a set of textbooks compiled by the Ministry of Education is widely used by students across the country,including junior high school students from seventh to ninth grades.In the teaching of ancient poetry by using the textbook,the independent,cooperative and inquiry teaching method can not only enable students to grasp the initiative and learn new knowledge in the cooperation,but also enable them to understand the culture of ancient poetry and feel the charm of ancient poetry in the deep exploration.This paper introduces the status of the independent,cooperative and inquiry teaching method in the teaching of ancient poetry in junior high school,points out the existing problems and analyzes causes by adopting the methods of literature review and questionnaire survey,trying to put forward the corresponding strategies.It hoped that the paper is helpful to improve teaching of ancient poetry.This paper consists of five parts.The introduction part introduces the background,significance,research methods and theoretical basis of the topic,and mainly analyzes the domestic and foreign research status of the independent cooperative inquiry teaching method.The chapter one is the theoretical overview of learning junior middle school ancient poetry through independent cooperative inquiry teaching method,which defines the concepts of independence,cooperation and exploration.And it also make a brief introduction of the selection and compilation of ancient poetry in textbook that compiled by the Ministry of Education for junior high school students.The chapter two is the investigation and analysis of the current situation of the ancient poetry teaching in junior high school,from the two aspects of students and teachers,through the questionnaire survey method,to find out the existing problems in the current situation and find out the reasons.The chapter threeputs forward strategies to solve the problems in the teaching of ancient poetry in junior high school,and discusses how to do better in the application of independent cooperative inquiry teaching method,so as to further improve teaching.The chapter four discusses the influence of independent cooperative inquiry teaching method on students and teachers.For students,it helps to improve their interest in ancient poetry,and it is also conducive to the overall development of students.For teachers,it can encourage them to continuously make progress.In a word,independent cooperative inquiry teaching method is a new teaching method that benefits teachers and students.
