Reading the whole book is the tradition of Chinese education in our country.Both the trial draft and the revised draft of compulsory education Chinese curriculum standard emphasize the importance of reading the whole book.Many classic books are recommended in the section of "guide reading of famous works" in combination with a single text.But in some areas,due to the pressure of students' schoolwork,the lack of attention of teachers and students,and the limitation of teachers' guidance methods,most students do not read the whole book.Even if they read the whole book,most of them will choose the readable bibliography to browse,and the satirical works that are difficult to understand are often shelved.Therefore,based on the actual situation of the former teaching school,the author takes the satirical novel "The Scholars" recommended by the "guide reading of famous works" section of the ninth grade textbook as an example to carry out the whole book reading teaching practice,and summarize and reflect on the reading teaching effect.This paper includes four parts.Part one: explain the origin,significance,status and concept of the whole book reading;part two: from the whole book reading bibliography selection,teaching objectives,teaching arrangements and reading method guidance four aspects of the whole book reading preparation for reading;part three: reading teaching content,reading teaching form and reading teaching evaluation three aspects of the narrative structure,character image,satirical art,theme reading teaching process;part four: mainly to read the teaching of students and teachers to improve the effect of reading teaching.It is hoped that through reading practice,students can improve their interest in reading satirical novels,learn the reading methods of satirical novels,and develop good reading habits;teachers can also improve the reading teaching ability of the whole book.For the first time,the author arranged for the students to "roll and climb" to read through,mainly to interpret the students are not interested,unwilling to read,difficult to adhere to the problem;then the unique works of "The Scholars" with the help of secondary books,in-depth understanding of reality,personalized interpretation of this "scroll of Confucianism ",so as to solve the difficult problems.The author hopes that through the whole book reading teaching practice of the History of Confucianism,students can improve their interest in reading satirical novels,learn the readingmethods of satirical novels,develop good reading habits,and teachers can also improve the reading teaching ability of the whole book.
