Through the "five-ring teaching model" advocated by the Education Bureau of Qiandongnan Prefecture,the aim is to improve the quality of biology teaching in senior middle schools in ethnic minority areas,and to achieve the goal of cultivating students' core quality of discipline,In the second Middle School of Jianhe County,the teaching practice of "five-ring teaching mode" has been carried out for one school year.Through the analysis of the teaching practice and the evaluation of the teaching effect of this mode,the key points that need to be paid attention to in the design of biology teaching in senior high school are made clear,it also has a more systematic understanding of the concept and goal of the new curriculum reform,and determines that this model is one of the teaching models that can be popularized in the biology teaching of the county-level senior middle schools in the minority areas of Guizhou Province.This research uses the literature analysis method to analyze the five-ring teaching model and the development;According to the method of questionnaire investigation,the author first analyzes and understands the actual situation of biology teaching in the second Middle School of Jianhe County and the study state of the biology subject of the students in the school,taking the new classroom reform request of the Education Bureau of Qiandongnan Prefecture as the premise,choose two parallel teaching classes of grade 2017,combine the new curriculum standard,carry out teaching design,the five-part teaching mode,named as five-part teaching mode for short,is established as "preview examination,goal display problem-leading,self-study group inquiry,Cooperation Exchange display result,evaluation and call for application of feedback,induction and summary".This paper analyzes the students' views on the "five-ring teaching" model in the biology teaching of the second Middle School in Jianhe County by the method of field investigation,and designs three different class models by the method of case analysis,for example,"cell proliferation" as a new class,"extraction and separation of pigment in green leaves" as an experimental class,"elements and inorganic substances in cells" as a review class;Finally,through the survey data of students' interest in biology,autonomous learning ability,and achievement data of academic level test,we find that this model is effective for all students in the teaching class,the learning interest increased from 17.5% before the experiment to 38.33% after the experiment,the self-regulated learning ability increased from 14.29% before the experiment to 40.83% after the experiment,It is concluded that the "five-ring teaching" model can improve the teaching effect to a certain extent in the biology teaching of high schools in minority areas of Guizhou Province.
