Proficiency in writing is the comprehensive embodiment of students' Chinese accomplishment,and writing teaching play an important role in Chinese teaching.However,there still remain numerous challenges in current writing teaching.In addition to the reform under guidance of the new curriculum scheme,we should take advantage of resources from various channels,especially the heritages of thought endowed by predecessors in the domain of education.This paper explores Sun Lianggong's Notes on Narrative Writing Practice through the approaches of literature research and qualitative analysis.Based on the researches,it is found that the work Notes on Narrative Writing Practice boasts profound,unique thoughts on writing teaching with scientific and pragmatic significances.Therefore,it serves as a valuable reference for current writing teaching.The paper adds to findings of Sun's researches and helps to extend the domain of contemporary writing teaching.It also presents solutions to problems in current writing teaching of Chinese.This paper consists of three chapters aside from the introduction and conclusion.In the first chapter,the author analyzes the background and structural features of Notes on Narrative Writing Practice.Analysis on the structural characteristics of the book involves three parts: knowledge layout,model selection and practice settings.The second chapter explores the major notions of the writing courses in Notes on Narrative Writing Practice.This chapter is composed of in-depth explorations at two sections: views on writing and views on writing teaching.The view on writing is elaborated from three phases: readers' consciousness,writing materials and writing methods.The view on writing teaching is explained from two aspects,namely the teaching principles and teaching methods.The third chapter discusses the instructive significances of Sun's thoughts in application to narrative writing teaching.These important inspirations are respectively efforts to arouse students' reader-awareness in writing,directions to accumulate their writing materials and focuses on imparting theoretical knowledge.It also proposed that teaching is a progressive process and the method “knowledge + example + practice” is a favorable option in writing teaching.
