Under the background of the Internet age,the dissemination range and speed of information have changed qualitatively,and the ways of public acceptance and expression are more complex and diverse.From the perspective of social governance,the change of public opinion communication mode driven by the rapid development of the network has brought great challenges to the Party committee and the government in managing network public opinion.In recent years,the municipal Party committee and the municipal government of City S pay more and more attention to the management of network public opinion.By guiding and supervising the direction of public opinion on social hot spots and sensitive issues,we can ensure that the network public opinion is controllable and maintain social stability.There are five parts in this paper.The first part: introduction,mainly introduces the background and significance of the topic,the definition and theoretical basis of the core concepts,the status quo of research at home and abroad,research methods,research ideas,and the main content of the research.The second part:summarizes the current situation of network public opinion management in City S of Guangdong Province,including the general situation and achievements of network public opinion management in City S.The third part: in view of the current situation of network public opinion management in City S of Guangdong Province,it comprehensively analyzes the existing problems and reasons from the aspects of management organization,management authority and responsibility,management system,management mode,management team,etc.The fourth part: in view of the problems and deficiencies in the network public opinion management of City S in Guangdong Province,the paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to strengthen the network public opinionmanagement of City S,including specific strategies such as defining the management organization,clarifying the authority and responsibility of the Department,improving the management system,enriching the management means,and strengthening the team construction.The fifth part: conclusion and prospect.
