Evaluation And Improvement Of Contour MAP Reading Ability Of Senior High School Students

Contour map is the key of geography subject in college entrance examination.The cultivation of contour map reading ability plays an active role in promoting students' comprehensive quality of geography.But at present,there are few studies on the evaluation of contour map reading ability.Based on the three aspects of information recognition,feature interpretation and correlation inference,the evaluation index system of contour map reading ability is constructed;based on the analysis of the textbook and the real questions of college entrance examination,the contour map reading ability test questions are formulated to obtain the original data;by using TOPSIS model,the ability of reading contour map of senior high school students is evaluated synthetically;through the analysis of the obstacle degree,identify the main obstacle factors that affect the ability of students to read contour map;according to the main obstacle factors,find out the shortcomings of students in the process of reading contour map,and formulate targeted improvement measures;the improvement measures are integrated into the teaching design of the course of improving the ability of reading contour map,and implemented;the ability of reading contour map is evaluated again,and the two evaluation results are compared and analyzed to verify the effectiveness of the strategy of improving the ability of reading contour map.The results show that: the information recognition level > the feature interpretation level > the correlation inference level;the average score of students' contour map reading ability is only 0.67,which is in the middle level,so it is necessary to take some measures to improve students' contour map reading ability;the main obstacle factors that affect the ability of students to read contour map are comprehensive correlationinference,knowledge correlation inference,information correlation inference,extended feature interpretation and curved feature interpretation;through the teaching of contour map reading ability improvement course,students' contour map reading ability has been improved obviously,and the effect of measures to improve contour map reading ability is better...
