Map is the second language of Geography,an important carrier of geographic information,and an important means of geography teaching.Isoline map,as a common and very important pattern in geographical images,is an important tool for high school students to learn geographical knowledge,cultivate geographical ability and form geographical literacy.Contour map reading ability is the foundation of high school students' geography ability.The cultivation of high school students' Geography contour map reading ability can focus their attention,cultivate their observation ability,enrich their imagination and enhance their creativity.This paper is closely related to the teaching of high school Geography isoline knowledge.At the same time,a large number of teaching examples of Geography isoline are selected to discuss the cultivation strategies of high school students' Geography isoline reading ability.Through a large number of reading and studying relevant literature of predecessors,excellent teaching cases of front-line teachers,and combining with my own geography teaching practice,this paper selected the research problem of "cultivation strategy of high school students' geographic contour map reading ability",and defined the core concepts such as contour map and map reading ability.In information processing and learning theory,constructivism learning theory and cognitive teaching structure theory as a foundation,this paper discusses the importance of cultivating the ability of high school geography contour map reading figure,under the guidance of ideas and methods in geography,mainly adopts the literature method and case analysis method of high school Geography isoline map reading ability training strategy research.Based on the research and the definition of core concepts,the cultivation strategies of high school students' geographic contour map reading ability are mainly developed from four aspects: understanding contour map,drawing contour map,analyzing contour map and applying contour map.The strategies of understanding isoline map include clarifying the components,mastering the methods of reading map and familiarizing the steps of reading map.The strategies of drawing isoline map mainly include constructing brain map independently,paying attention to the conversion of text and text,and intensifying the practice of drawing.The strategy of isoline map analysis mainly includes analyzing images,summarizing features,selecting methods,integrating knowledge and processing information,and building a framework.The strategy of applying isoline map mainly includes setting up application consciousness,carrying out practical activities and paying attention to practical application.Finally,by referring to the excellent teaching cases of front-line teachers and combining with my own geography teaching practice,I developed a training case,"Interpretation of Contour Topographic Map",which involves a lot of contour map in high school geography textbooks,in the hope of providing some help to the cultivation of high school students' ability to read contour map.
