Reading ability of ancient poetry is a kind of Chinese reading ability.The low and middle levels of primary school is the beginning stage of cultivating the reading ability of ancient poetry.With the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey and interview as the main research methods,this paper interprets the requirements of the Chinese Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2011edition)for the cultivation of ancient poetry reading ability,which can be summed up as the ability of reading,understanding and appreciation and evaluation.Based on these three abilities,this paper finds out the problems existing in the cultivation of reading ability of ancient poems in low and middle levels of primary school,analyses the reasons and puts forward corresponding suggestions.Through combing the questionnaires and interviews,it is found that there are some specific problems in the teaching of cultivating the reading ability,understanding ability and appreciation and evaluation ability of ancient poems in low and middle levels.As for the students,the low-level students have not formed a good habit of reading ancient poems and dictionaries,and have some difficulties in reciting them;they do not have a deep understanding of the poems and do not look at illustrations;they have little understanding.Middle levels students,mainly for the existence of some problems in silent writing,there areerrors in writing;the understanding of poetry needs to be deepened;less emotional experience.In the aspect of teachers,low-level teachers lack guidance of reading methods,and they are lax in the examination of recitation;in the aspect of understanding,teaching methods are monotonous;in the aspect of appreciation and evaluation,they guide students to have less emotional experience.In the aspect of reading,middle level teachers lack the guidance of reading skills and pay no attention to teaching details;in the aspect of understanding,they are limited to a certain teaching method;in the aspect of appreciation and evaluation,they have the problem of guiding students to feel less.The causes of the problems are analyzed from the aspects of students and teachers.For students,it is mainly determined by the long-term particularity of ability cultivation and students' psychological cognitive characteristics.The reason why teachers have the above problems in low levels is that they do not realize the importance of good reading habits in reading ability,pay less attention to reading aloud and reciting ancient poems and lyrics,do not fully use the awareness of teaching materials resources in understanding ability,and do not fully mobilize emotions in appreciation and evaluation ability.In the middle levels,there is a lack of awareness of reading skills guidance and attention to details of ancient poetry steganography;a lack of innovative awareness in understanding ability,afraid to trynew teaching methods;in appreciation and evaluation,teachers have limited perception of ancient poetry.In view of the problems existing in the cultivation of reading ability of ancient poems in low and middle levels,this paper puts forward relevant suggestions.At the low levels,the ability of reading ancient poems and lyrics needs to pay attention to the cultivation of students' habits,the cultivation of students' reading ability,the guidance of students' recitation strategies,and check recitation in time.In view of the ability of understanding,we can activate students' various sensory involvement in the situation and teach them the method of reading pictures.In order to appreciate and evaluate the ability,we should try our best to link the actual life and mobilize students.imagination.In middle levels,the cultivation of reading ability of ancient poetry should guide students' reading skills,emphasize teaching details in class and check recitation in various ways;use various teaching methods to deepen students' understanding for understanding ability;and extend ancient poetry in and out of class to enable students to understand the rhythm of ancient poetry.
