| With the implementation of the new curriculum reform,junior high school geography new curriculum focuses more on activity teaching.which shows that activity teaching is more suitable for today’s classroom teaching.more conduciveto the cultivation of students’ ability,adapt to social development,and better play the activity teaching in teaching.Activity teaching has been developed for a period of time in china,but there are some problems in the practical application process,which can not fully play,Under the interference of these problems,activity teaching has not played its due role.This article focuses on finding out the problems existing in junior high school geography activity teaching.the causes of the problems,and the countermeasures to solve the problems.In this paper,Liaoyuan D middle school as the research object,through the questionnaire survey of students,to understand the status of students in activity teaching:interviews with teachers to understand the status of teachers in the teaching of activity teaching.This paper obtains the problems existing in the teaching and learning process of activity.finds out the causes,and designs the countermeasures based on the single case of the first volume of the seventh grade of junior high school geography people’s education press,and studies the countermeasures with the whole book of the first volume of the seventh grade geography people’s education press of junior high school.The conclusions are as follows:1.The main problems of geography activity teaching in D middle School of Liaoyuan are as follows:The problems of junior middle school geography teachers in liaoyuan city D middle school are as follows:(1)the development of activity teaching is limited by students’ knowledge reserve,teachers’ design is not perfect,and the implementation process is restricted by time and place the results show that;(2)teachers’ awareness of activity teaching is not strong,and they are deeply influenced by age and exam oriented education;(3)teachers are not able to understand the intertion of activity teaching in junior high school geography textbooks,and the teaching objectives are in vain;(4)activity teaching is lack of cases from life the corresponding teaching aids,activity teaching interest is low,time is difficult to control,the implementation of activity teaching has a certain degree of difficulty.The problems of middle school students in activity teaching in D Middle School of Liaoyuan City:(1)students’ knowledge of geography.They are interested in learning,and have good participation and learning state;(2)activity teaching is helpful to improve learning ability,enhance practical ability and cultivate self-confidence,so as to improve students’ comprehensive ability;(3)activity teaching can improve students’ comprehensive ability in the process of implementation,there are some difficulties,such as far away from the living environment,lack of field exploration knowledge,imperfect time and tools;(4)the evaluation of activity teaching should adopt a variety of evaluation methods.The single evaluation methods is mot conducive to the achievement of the goal of activity teaching.2.The main causes of the current situation of geography activity teaching in Junior High School of D middle school in Liaoyuan city are as follows:(1)Junior high school geography activity content lacks the life,the student study lacks the interest,intensifies the teaching implementation;(2)the lack of theoretical training in teaching activities,the blind implementation of activity teaching,the lack of awareness of curriculum reform;(3)there are design defects in the teaching contents of junior high school geography activities,teachers’ teaching goal design is in vain,and the activity teaching goal is difficult to achieve;(4)the teaching content of geography activity in junior high school has some defects.The evaluation method of junior high school geography activity teaching is single and one-sided,which is difficult to guarantee the goal of junior high school geography activity teaching.3.Teaching strategies of geography activities in junior Middle School of D middle school in liaoyuan city:(1)The situational design materials of geographical "activities"should be derived from students’ life or experience to improve the interest of activity teaching;(2)teachers should involve teachers’ teaching guidance,organization and implementation according to students’ learning guidance,organization and implementation according to students’ learning methods of "activities";(3)the design of "activity teaching"should focus on students’ problem-solving ability in order to improve students’ geographical literacy;(4)to use scientific evaluation methods to promote the achievement of the goal of activity teaching.Teaching suggestions:make full use of the "local geography" of students’ life or experience to carry out the case design of "activity teaching";the countermeasures of activity teaching should continuously go deep into the practice of activity teaching",deepen the "activity teaching",and promote the cultivation of
