In September 2016,the Ministry of Education proposed to develop students’ core qualities,and self-management is one of the most important qualities.In March 2021,the Ministry of Education and other six departments issued a notice on the issuance of "Guidelines for Compulsory Education Quality Evaluation",in which the evaluation of the quality of student development put forward specific evaluation requirements for the living habits,learning habits and innovative spirit of primary school students.It is emphasized that students should have the ability of independent study,independent exploration,independent thinking and independent living,which requires students’ self-management ability,and self-management ability is the essential character and key ability for students to adapt to the needs of life-long development and social development.Students with learning difficulties are a more common existence,improving their self-management ability is conducive to their transformation.According to the question dimension design of the self-management ability scale,students’ self-management ability is divided into four dimensions: behavior management ability,emotion management ability,cognitive management ability,and time management ability.Through questionnaire survey,interview method and field observation method,it is concluded that the self-management ability of rural primary school students with learning difficulties is lower than other students in four aspects.Through the questionnaire of students’ self-management ability and the interview with teachers,it is concluded that the self-management ability of students with learning difficulties mainly has internal and external factors.The internal cause is that the students with learning difficulties have more psychological problems the cognitive development is blocked and the students with learning difficulties have weak attention.The external reasons include four aspects: lack of corresponding training mechanism in school education,uneven comprehensive quality of teachers,improper family education and improper evaluation methods.The self-management ability of the students with learning difficulties can be effectively improved by improving their self-confidence,enhancing their cognitive ability and cultivating their concentration,optimizing the school training environment,improving the comprehensive quality of teachers,giving full play to the exemplary role of parents and optimizing the evaluation methods of students.
