Studies have shown that teachers’ teaching beliefs will affect their teaching behavior,and teachers’ teaching behavior will directly affect students’ learning.Teachers’ teaching beliefs will produce corresponding teaching behaviors in the teaching situation through the teaching situation,and then have a certain impact on the teaching effect.Different teachers hold different views and ideas on teaching,and their external performance will be different.It can be seen that teachers’ personal teaching beliefs are the most critical factor.Therefore,it is particularly important to study the relationship between the generation and development of teachers’ cognition and belief and their own teaching behavior.This study takes two junior high school chemistry teachers as the research object to explore the relationship between their teaching beliefs and teaching behavior,hoping to provide reference for front-line educators.Firstly,this paper reviews the literature related to the research topic,and defines the concepts related to teachers’ teaching beliefs and teaching behaviors.Secondly,according to the needs of the research,the questionnaire of teachers’ classroom teaching behavior is compiled.Then,230 students from six classes of grade three in my school were selected to measure and analyze their chemistry teachers’ teaching behavior,and entered the two chemistry teachers’ classroom to record and observe.Through the recording content,we further analyzed the two chemistry teachers’ teaching behavior and the performance of chemistry teaching belief:(1)analyze the actual situation of the questionnaire,and answer the questionnaire Statistics,the formation of data comparison,analysis of the two teachers’ teaching behavior and reflected teaching beliefs;(2)combined with the two chemistry teachers teaching class students on the teacher’s classroom teaching behavior survey results,into the classroom for real observation,and combined with the two teachers’ different classroom teaching behavior for semi-structured interviews,in order to further explore the two chemistry teachers The relationship between teaching belief and teaching behavior;(3)transform the recorded materials into oral reports,analyze the oral reports,and extract the elements of teaching belief and teaching behavior.Finally,the research conclusions and teaching suggestions are summarizedThe results show that:(1)teachers’ teaching beliefs affect teachers’ classroom teaching behavior.What kind of teaching belief teachers have will show what kind of teaching behavior in teaching.Teaching belief determines teaching behavior(2)Teachers’ professional practice and external environmental factors will promote the transformation of teachers’ teaching beliefs.Teachers’ teaching beliefs are not unchangeable,but through their own teaching experience and Reflection on teaching behavior,they will further change and improve their beliefs.Teachers’ teaching beliefs are also influenced by their own growth and environmental factors.The innovation of this paper is mainly reflected in:(1)the questionnaire and observation table of classroom teaching behavior are compiled,which lays the foundation for the next step of research;(2)the complementary relationship between junior high school chemistry teachers’ teaching beliefs and teaching behavior is confirmed,which provides a foreshadowing for further research on teaching beliefs and teaching behavior.
