Student Organizations Participate In Survey Research On University Governance

The modernization of educational governance is an important component of the modernization of national governance system and governance capacity.In university governance,administrative power,academic power and student power represent the management,teachers and students,and they are also the three stakeholders that need to be maintained and balanced in university governance.However,in practice,the expansion of administrative power and the squeeze of academic power make the power of students decline and in a passive situation.The operation of student power is difficult to effectively implement,and the effect of students' participation in university governance becomes mere formality.As an organization with a high degree of autonomy,student organization is an important embodiment of student power and an important platform for the operation of student power.Members of student organization have more direct channels and paths to participate in university governance activities.However,due to the constraints of subjective and objective factors,it is difficult for university student organizations to give full play to their real effectiveness,and it is difficult to implement the multi participation university governance model.Based on this,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the participation of student organizations in university governance from the perspective of governance theory.This study first collates the relevant research results at home and abroad,defines the relevant concepts,combs the research context,and grasps the research focus.This paper expounds the basic viewpoints of stakeholder theory and governance theory,and forms the research framework and paradigm on this basis,which provides theoretical support for in-depth analysis and research.Secondly,by means of questionnaire survey,this paper investigates the members of student organizations in six undergraduate colleges in Shandong Province.Through data collection,collation and analysis,the existing problems are sorted into three levels:students,schools and systems.First,at the student level,it is mainly reflected in the utilitarianism of participation motivation,the weakening of participation consciousness and the lack of participation ability;Second,at the school level,it is mainly due to the shackles of traditional administrative concepts,the lack of supporting participation mechanism and the lack of democratic atmosphere of campus culture;Third,there are three main problems in the system level: the fuzzy status of students' participation,the alienation of students' power and the generalization of policy provisions.Finally,in view of the existing problems,this paper puts forward four corresponding improvement suggestions,which provide strategies for the progress and development of student organizations to participate in university governance.First,encourage participation,establish clear motivation and awareness of participation to stimulate the vitality of participation,change the utilitarian motivation of participation,devote to serving the interests of students,establish students' awareness of participation and subject consciousness,and constantly improve students' ability of participation,so as to better implement the effectiveness of students' Participation in university governance;Second,change the concept of pluralistic co governance instead of centralized management to promote students' participation.School administrators need to break through the shackles of bureaucratic system and encourage and promote students to participate in university governance activities with the concept of CO governance;Third,we should improve the system,clarify the dominant position of students' participation in governance,ensure the operation of the mechanism,form more detailed and easy to operate rules and regulations,and promote students' participation with more perfect supporting mechanisms;Fourth,create an environment,create a strong democratic atmosphere for students to participate in order to implement the effectiveness of participation,not much to improve and strengthen the cultural atmosphere of the school,enhance the democratic atmosphere of the school,and make the channels for students' organizations to participate in university governance more smooth.
