The rapid development of tourism industry, the driving effect of tourism industry on the economy is more significant, and the development of tourism industry plays an important role in promoting the goal of rural revitalization in China, and in the process of achieving national poverty eradication, following which the country pays more and more attention to the cultivation of tourism talents. The tourism graduates trained by secondary vocational schools are the basic force of the tourism talent team, and how to improve their learning efficacy and training quality has become a key issue affecting the service level of the whole tourism industry. The high level of students' learning self-efficacy has been confirmed by many studies, which can influence students' learning self-confidence,learning interest, students' own learning expectations, learning subject awareness and self-awareness,and directly affect students' academic achievement. The study aims to enhance the learning effectiveness of secondary tourism students and improve the learning effectiveness of secondary school students with the help of mind mapping form, taking the course "Introduction to Tourism" as an example. The research related to the teaching of mind mapping at the general education level by Chinese scholars has been relatively mature and has confirmed its ability to improve students' learning effectiveness. However, the research on the relationship between the use of mind maps and students' learning effectiveness of secondary vocational education students in tourism is not deep enough, which has some reasons with the development of vocational education in China, the development of tourism industry, secondary students' own characteristics and social expectations.Firstly,we read the relevant literature to understand the current development process and achievements of the topic, and sort out the results;secondly,we applied the "Learning Efficacy Questionnaire for Tourism Courses" for secondary school students, and conducted a pre-and posttest from four dimensions: students' learning self-confidence,learning expectation, interest in learning tourism, subjective consciousness and self-awareness of learning. The questionnaire was analyzed;before the experiment, interviews were conducted with six teachers in JD schools in Rizhao to understand the current situation of students' learning in school, the current situation of using mind maps, their recognition and suggestions;then students in tourism classes in JD schools in Rizhao were used as the experimental subjects to conduct the mind map intervention and compare with the students using conventional teaching to analyze the learning effect;finally, the students who participated in the teaching intervention were interviewed to understand The students who participated in the teaching intervention had a conversation to understand the feeling and effect of mind mapping learning,as well as a second questionnaire survey, according to the data obtained from SPSS21.0 and the practical teaching to propose corresponding improvement measures. The results of this experimental study show that: first, students' learning effectiveness is positively correlated with their academic performance;second, the improvement of learning effectiveness makes students' learning form a virtuous cycle;third, mind mapping can play a role in improving the learning effectiveness of secondary tourism students.Based on the analysis of the experimental data and results, three countermeasures are proposed to improve students' learning efficacy by using mind mapping, including the logical thinking relationship that needs to be cultivated by mind mapping, how teachers can help students improve specific aspects that affect learning efficacy, and the improvement of teaching and learning styles,in order to provide guidance for improving the current situation of secondary school students' learning.
