Senior High School is the key period for students to form their outlook on the world,life and values,and it is also an important turning point in their life.At present,examination-oriented education is still the main form of high school education in China.Most schools focus on the teaching and learning of cultural courses,ignoring the education of college major,future career and life planning.However,from a practical point of view,due to the reform of the college entrance examination model,the development of society and the differences among students themselves,they face different choices for further studies and employment after graduation from high school.However,the lack of career education leads to the students' lack of accurate self-orientation and their perplexity and carelessness in making life decisions.How to help students make their own choices,make scientific choices,promote their interests and abilities through rational choices,and guide the Future Path of life,has become a question that must be answered by senior high school education.This research mainly discusses the current situation of career education in senior high school,and investigates the self-cognition,professional and professional cognition,career cognition,career implementation approach and career implementation effect of senior high school students by questionnaire.The result of the questionnaire shows that there are some problems in career education,such as students' lack of cognition,lack of ways of career implementation and poor effect of career implementation.There were no differences in students' cognition at the level of gender and grade,but there were differences in parents' educational background,students' place of origin and school grade.Self-cognition,professional and professional cognition,career cognition and the effect of career education are positively correlated.In order to fully understand the current situation of career education,this study also uses interviews with teachers and parents in-depth communication.According to the interview results,the author analyzes the problems of career education,such as insufficient resources,single mode and lack of parents' support.Therefore,this study according to the general high school career education problems to give countermeasures and suggestions.First of all,high school students strengthen self-management,learn to understand themselves correctly,cultivate career awareness and improve their career ability.Secondly,career education resources continue to improve,ensure the number of class hours,hire experts to teach,strengthen the strength of teachers.Finally,the school,family,society to establish a unified career education model,enhance the participation of high school students,play their subjective initiative,to obtain the support of family and society.Furthermore,these measures help high school students to think positively about the relationship between study and future major and occupation,find the direction of career development,and realize their own life plan.
