Social changes affect the career development of each individual.High school students are in the exploration stage of career development, which is the critical period for individual career development and the formation of career self-concept.The clearer career self-concept the high school students have in this period, the more knowledge and skills they will reserve for their future career development. They can not only make more correct career decisions but build a better and happier life in the future. This research is designed to help high school students further develop a clear career self-concept,improve their career planning ability, enhance their confidence in future career development and provide practical experience for school career education intervention. It started with a present career self-concept situation investigation of the students in a high school in Anhui province as the object, adopting "the youth career self-concept scale" to understand the current situation of the development of high school career self-concept and explore the related factors, and accordingly, designed experiential career activity courses.Seventy subjects were randomly divided into experimental group and control group and a total of nine experiential career activity courses were carried out.The results are as follows:(1)Scores in all dimensions and the total of high school students' career self-concept are above average.(2)High school students' career self-concept shows no significant difference in the scores of all dimensions and the total in variables such as gender, the only child in the family or not,day school student or not, academic performance, their parents' occupation and father's absence.(3)High school students' career self-concept shows significant differences in the variables of grade and family location. The development level of career self-concept in grade one and grade three is better than that in grade two.High school students from urban areas have a clearer career self-concept than those from rural areas.(4)High school students' career self-concept shows significant differences in the variables of their parents' cultural level, their mother's absence and it has an even greater impact on career self-concept of high school students'.(5)Educational intervention has a significant promoting effect on high school students' career self-concept,with significant influence on career value, career interest, career awareness and total score.(6)The self-designed experiential career activity course for intervention in this research is feasible and effective.
