With the comprehensive promotion of the new curriculum standards,in the newly promulgated curriculum standards,the Ministry of Education has put forward new development requirements for the awareness of the rule of law among secondary vocational school students,and has adjusted the name of the original “Moral education ”curriculum to “Ideological politics”,the course of professional ethics and rule of law is a course in which the students can contact the knowledge of law in an all-round way.The new curriculum standards require secondary vocational school teachers to highlight the characteristics of vocational education in teaching,pay attention to the links between teaching content and social and professional life,and highlight the practice orientation through relevant situations,the request was made in accordance with the Case method.Although Case method is frequently used in the course ethics and the rule of law,the results are often unsatisfactory,so,it is necessary to study the application of case teaching in the course of professional ethics and rule of law.In this paper,first of all,the literature research method is used to collect data,and in the process of summarizing the current research situation at home and abroad,we found that the Case method has less applied research in the course of professional ethics and the rule of law,so as to raise questions and determine the research content,in addition,we have consulted the literature to enrich the concept of Case method,which is supported by the theory of example teaching,the theory of learning transfer and the theory of Constructivism.Secondly,the Case method can adapt to the new curriculum reform,match with the characteristics of the curriculum,match with the cognitive development of students,there is a certain inevitability in the application of the course of professional ethics and rule of law,it shows that the research in this paper is valuable.Thirdly,through the empirical method combining the questionnaire survey with the education experiment,through the data analysis of the survey results,the problems in the application of Case method in the course of professional ethics and the rule of law are as follows: improper case selection,single case presentation,rigid case analysis,and an analysis of the causes of the problems.Finally,the author puts forward the optimization plan for the problems existing in the application of the Case method in the course of professional ethics and the rule of law.In the aspect of case selection,in view of the improper content of case selection,this paper puts forward some strategies,such as selecting cases that are close to students reality,and improving the standard of case resources storage in secondary vocational schools.In the aspect of case presentation,in view of the single way of case presentation,this paper puts forward some proposals,such as enhancing teachers professional ability and changing traditional teaching ideas.In the aspect of case analysis,aiming at the dull problem of case analysis,this paper puts forward some measures,such as advocating to be a reflective teacher and enriching the case itself.
