In the national "14th Five-Year Plan" and the long-term goal of 2035,we insist on putting innovation in the first place and taking scientific and technological innovation as the support of national strategic development.The cultivation of innovative talents has become the focus of attention in various fields in China.Problem-solving ability is one of the core competencies necessary for innovative talents,a breakthrough point for training innovative talents,and an important goal of basic education.In this study,action research method,survey research method(questionnaire survey and interview method),observation method and other research methods were adopted to design and practice the gamification teaching activities for the cultivation of problem solving ability.The main research work is as follows:First of all,the existing research related to the cultivation of problem solving ability and gamification teaching was summarized,the current situation of the cultivation of problem solving ability of students in information technology courses was investigated,and the existing problems were analyzed.Based on the advantages of gamified teaching,this paper expounds the appropriateness of gamified teaching activities in junior middle school information technology courses to promote the cultivation of students’ problem-solving ability.Secondly,on the basis of combing and analyzing the existing gamified teaching mode and the teaching mode of cultivating problem solving ability,and under the guidance of relevant theoretical basis,the principles of gamified teaching activity design are proposed.Through the analysis of activity theory elements and gamification teaching elements,the elements of gamification teaching activities are determined and designed.On this basis,according to the nine teaching events proposed by Gagne,the design process of gamified teaching activities is carried out,and the design framework of gamified teaching activities oriented to the cultivation of problem solving ability is preliminarily constructed.Finally,three rounds of action research were carried out in the middle school information technology classroom.In the implementation process,problems were found and the design framework was revised through observation,interview,questionnaire survey and analysis of students’ learning results.And through the questionnaire survey,interview and other data analysis,verify the effectiveness of students’ problem-solving ability training.In this study,gamified teaching elements are integrated into the design of classroom teaching activities to explore the design framework of gamified teaching activities to cultivate students’ problem-solving ability.It not only provides a new way of thinking for the cultivation of students’ problem-solving ability in information technology courses,but also enriches relevant theories of gamification teaching to a certain extent,which has certain theoretical significance and practical value.
