At present,the high school music curriculum reform is to promote the implementation of curriculum reform to highlight the key is to change the traditional teaching way and method,and as the core of the reform of classroom teaching,teachers need to change their roles,reflect student's main body status,pay attention to the training students have a certain aesthetic ability,perception,judgment,imagination and creativity.The traditional music classroom highlights the teacher's "teaching",the students lack initiative,the whole classroom efficiency is low,can not meet the needs of the development of The Times.Case teaching as a kind of open teaching method,the stress in a typical or specific examples,and guide the learners found in specific situations,thinking and analysis,to grasp the concepts or theories on the subject,and in the process of practice,the students' thinking ability,practical ability and cooperative ability also got rapid development.This paper takes Chinese national and folk music in the third edition of high school music appreciation textbook as an example to explore the application of case teaching method in high school music class.First,through the analysis of related literature,the case teaching method and related concepts and theoretical basis(transfer theory,teaching communication theory,and contextual learning theory)are defined.Secondly,based on theoretical research,this paper takes Chinese national folk music in the third edition of high school music appreciation textbooks published by People's Music Publishing House,Hunan Literature and Art Publishing House and Huacheng Publishing House as the research object,and focuses on the comparative text analysis of Chinese national folk music cases in the three editions.Furthermore,through the comparative analysis of the three editions of textbooks,the case teaching method in high school music appreciation class is explored by taking the human voice version of "Han nationality folk song" and the Huachen version of "colorful Chinese voice-drama" as examples.Finally,through the form of questionnaire survey,taking the students of Grade One as the research object,the application effect of case teaching method in music appreciation class is presented.
