Music appreciation is an activity in which the appreciator listens to music through hearing,and obtains the enjoyment of music beauty,the pleasure of spirit and the satisfaction of reason.From the perspective of music practice as a whole,it is the acceptance link of music creation and performance.Whether it is music creation or performance,in the final analysis,it is all for the audience to enjoy.However,music appreciation in music practice is not only as the acceptance of music,it also affects the creation and performance of music by way of feedback,and plays a positive role.Therefore,the teaching of music appreciation can let students know more about music,enhance music aesthetic experience,and promote the development of aesthetic education.Situational teaching is a method of teaching by creating a situation similar to or corresponding to the teaching content.It is intuitive,vivid and integrated.Situational teaching strategy allows students in a relaxed and happy music teaching atmosphere,not only effectively acquire music culture knowledge,but also cultivate temperament,arouse students' emotions,and bring students into the context to effectively mobilize students'initiative.The integration of sound,shape and emotion can promote the integration of rational knowledge and emotional experience,as well as the integration of rational thinking and perceptual thinking.The appreciation of Peking Opera is a special appreciation content in music appreciation.Beijing Opera art is a kind of comprehensive art,Beijing Opera music and Beijing Opera performance are inseparable.The combination of the two performances has its virtuality,but also has its exaggeration.From its birth to the present,Peking Opera has produced a lot of specialized knowledge and stylized performance forms,which are not easy to understand.In addition,Peking Opera is one of the representative arts in China,which is far away from students' life.Junior high school students are in the growth stage of yearning for new and interesting things,so it is not easy for them to have a good Peking Opera class in junior high school.By studying the role of situational teaching method in music appreciation and applying its strategies to the teaching of Peking Opera appreciation,the teaching efficiency can be greatly improved,the effectiveness of students' appreciation of Peking Opera can be improved,and the motivation of students' active appreciation of Peking Opera can be enhanced,so as to improve the quality of class.
