As a compulsory course of music education in senior high school,music appreciation course is the main way of implementing aesthetic education in schools and plays a key role in music education.In traditional high school music appreciation classrooms,teachers often instill music knowledge to students in the form of language teaching and frequently music playing.They overly pay attention to the results of teaching evaluation and ignore the process of students' feeling and students' understanding of musical works.With the implementation of the Musical Curriculum Criteria of Ordinary Senior High School(2017),the new curriculum concept has gradually seeped and penetrated into the music teaching.Obviously,the previous single teaching method is no longer suitable for the new curriculum concept.So,it becomes a common concern of teachers and educational researchers that how to make students accumulate and deepen their understanding of music while enjoying musical practice activities.Different from traditional teaching methods,game teaching method is based on the modern educational theory.It is presented in a new way in the teaching process.It also aims to allow students to master knowledge and skills in a joyful teaching activity,and to promote the harmonious development in students' physiological and psychological aspects positively.The kind of teaching method is educational,interesting and innovative,which also conforms to the basic idea of the new curriculum standard.Through literature review and the actual classroom observation,it was found that the game teaching method has been widely used in preschool education and primary school music teaching in recent years,however,the research of game teaching method in middle school is still at an early stage,and a complete teaching system has not been formed.Therefore,it is necessary to study the application of game teaching method in music appreciation class of senior high school.In order to explore the practice of game teaching method in music appreciation class of senior high school,the study is based on the theories of constructivism,humanistic psychology and Orff and Kodaly Music Education System,chooses two innovative classes of senior one in Zhengzhou No.2 Middle School as research subjects and designs four lesson examples by adopting the methods of literature review,case analysis and experimental exploration and the teaching of the four lesson examples in Zhengzhou No.2middle school is also based on the current situation of music appreciation class,the feasibility of implementing the game teaching method and the psychological characteristics of senior high school students.The result of the study shows that the game teaching method is suitable for the music appreciation class of Zhengzhou No.2 Middle School.In addition,the research of this topic is conducive to ignite the students' enthusiasm for learning music,activate the classroom atmosphere,let the students obtain the overall harmonious development in the joyful teaching process,and also provide reference for the future study of game teaching in music teaching.
