| Senior grade primary school students are in an important stage of physical and mental development.Due to multiple factors such as excessive learning pressure and lack of interest in learning and the relative lack of educational resources in rural schools,many rural senior primary school students have obvious phenomenon of learning burnout.They are tired and under pressure to study inefficiently,showing physical fatigue,anxiety,depression,slow response,the bored backlog in the heart is not willing to seek help from others,if not timely guidance for a long time,this kind of learning burnout will not only be transformed into learning-weary,but also spread to the surrounding students.At present,there are many researches on learning burnout among college and high school students,but few on primary school students,especially rural primary school students.Therefore,this study takes rural primary school students as the object to conduct an investigation and research on learning burnout.This article selects 380 pupils as questionnaire survey objects who from the primary school grade five and six years of a town in Z city in Shandong province,and selects the 8 primary school students and 3 teachers of grade five and six for interview.This study adopts the self-compiled "Primary School Students Learning Burnout Questionnaire" and the corresponding interview outline as the research tool to investigate the status quo of learning burnout of this group.The results show that the degree of rural primary school students’ learning burnout is in the middle level;in the dimension of self-efficacy,there is significant gender difference in learning burnout;and there are significant differences in learning burnout in grade,class,academic performance,emotion,self-control and gregariousness.The following conclusions can be drawn,generally speaking,rural primary school students have learning burnout;in the aspect of inefficiency,the degree of learning burnout of girls is more serious than that of boys;the sixth grade pupils’ learning burnout is more serious than that of the fifth grade pupils;the learning burnout of non-class cadre pupils is more serious than that of class cadre pupils;the worse the pupils’ academic performance is,the more serious the learning burnout is;emotionally unstable pupils’ learning burnout is more serious than that of emotionally stable pupils;the learning burnout of students with weak self-control is more serious than that of pupils with strong self-control;the learning burnout of pupils with low level gregariousness is more serious than that with high level gregariousness.Based on the above problems,there are several suggestions as follows.The situation of rural primary school students’ learning burnout should be taken seriously and paid continuous attention to;to improve girls’ sense of self-efficacy and pay attention to girls’ mental health;pay attention to the graduating students,adjust the learning state;guide pupils to actively participate in class affairs and stimulate their enthusiasm for learning;improve their academic performance,let them experience a sense of achievement;cultivate pupils a stable mood and maintain a peaceful state of mind;cultivate pupils self-control,let them do the master of learning;improve their sociability and accept themselves and others. |
