BOPPPS was originally proposed by the Centre for Teaching and Academic Growth at the University of British Columbia in Canada and has been widely promoted in teaching seminars.This method is a good starting point for curriculum planning,because it provides a simple idea and planning for pre-class organization.In successful and effective teaching,teachers should attract students' attention and make it last for a period of time.In addition,teachers who are good at teaching will try their best to mobilize students' intelligence and emotion,and realize that emotion drives attention,while attention drives students to further study.If students don't pay attention to the teacher's introduction and goal statement,they may not be integrated into the curriculum,and it is difficult for teachers to teach these students who wander outside the classroom any knowledge.BOPPPS attaches importance to cultivating students' interest,clarifying the purpose of the course,evaluating students' understanding of the course content,allowing students to participate in active learning,determining whether the goal have been achieved,and summarizing key points to consolidate what they have learned.BOPPPS requires teachers to practice combining learning objectives or expected learning results with classroom activities and evaluating them.Although BOPPPS has been found to be a useful and efficient teaching method,the model is somewhat rigid and inflexible,too modular.Therefore,this study will make appropriate and reconstitution adjustments to the BOPPPS teaching mode,so that it can be better adapted and applied to the teaching of Kodu programming course of information technology in primary schools.In this paper,firstly,we understand and summarize the teaching mode of BOPPPS and the current situation of information technology teaching in primary schools through literature review.Secondly,through the questionnaire,we know the situation of information technology teaching and the primary school students' views on BOPPPS teaching mode.At last,the teaching mode of BOPPPS is reconstructed and applied to the teaching of Kodu programming in primary school information technology course.In the post-assessment stage,PTA scale is used to score students' theme conception ability,aesthetic ability,hands-on operation ability and innovation ability,According to the scoring results,the radar chart is drawn for each group,which helps the group students to know their own advantages and disadvantages,and also provides the basis for teachers'follow-up teaching.Through the verification of teaching practice,the teaching method can be applied to the theme teaching of Kodu programming in the primary school information technology course,and there is a certain potential for development and application.The BOPPPS teaching method can optimize traditional teaching,mobilize the enthusiasm of students,and make them fully participate in the process of independent exploration and group cooperation,and provide certain reference value for the teaching of information technology courses in primary schools in the future.
