Primary school science is a comprehensive course,and high grade physics,chemistry,biology,geography and other subjects closely related to the study.China's newly released "Compulsory Education Primary School Curriculum Standards"(2017)also reflects the gradual emphasis of China's curriculum reform on science education.However,in the actual teaching process of primary school science class,most teachers pay more attention to the impart of subject knowledge,and tend to ignore the cultivation of students' thinking ability.However,the senior grade students in primary schools are in the transition period of thinking mode from concrete operation stage to formal operation stage,which is the key stage of rapid development of scientific thinking ability.Therefore,it is of great significance to improve the teaching level of science course for the study of connecting junior and senior high school courses in primary schools.This paper conducted a questionnaire survey on students and an interview with the front-line teachers,and conducted a survey and analysis of the commonly used teaching tools and students' inquiry materials in science teaching,so as to have an in-depth understanding of the current teaching situation of science class and the use of teaching tools used in science class.It is found some of the main problems in the current science courses of senior grades,such as: single teaching objectives,too much emphasis on the mastery of scientific knowledge due to the pursuit of grades;rigid teaching mode,which is difficult to effectively cultivate students' thinking ability;teaching content is limited to textbooks,which is easy to make students lose interest in learning.Students lack the opportunity of hands-on exploration,it is difficult to form the exploration spirit of knowledge.Therefore,the research focus of this article is how to increase the interesting and logical nature of science class,improve the teaching mode and enrich the teaching content to increase students' interest in learning,develop students' model thinking in the process of students' hands-on exploration,and promote the improvement of students' scientific thinking ability.After reading a large number of literature and journals,after reviewing the literature summary,and combining the theory of Piaget's cognitive development,Vygotsky's theory of the nearest development zone,Dewey's education theory,such as "learning by doing" in this paper,in order to construct the model for the framework of teaching mode are summarized and induction,form a kind of to cultivate students' thinking ability of teaching strategies:understanding model,the understanding model,application model and construct the model.Through theoretical verification and practical research,this teaching mode can well help students internalize knowledge,construct a relatively complete knowledge system,and develop students' scientific thinking ability of independent inquiry and cooperative learning.This paper takes the first volume of the sixth grade primary school "curved moon" as an example,based on the specific teaching content and students' cognitive level,completed the teaching design and carried out the teaching practice.A large number of observation methods are used in teaching practice,and the teaching experience is summarized from the students' classroom interaction,simulation experiment,and interactive inquiry process,and the teaching mode is further improved on the basis of practice.And sum up experience in the teaching process and interviews with teachers to improve the teaching model.Through research,it is found that this teaching mode can effectively improve students' learning enthusiasm,form a good classroom atmosphere,and effectively promote students' desire to explore and curiosity about life.Through simulation experiments and inquiry activities,students' hands-on operation,asking questions,making hypotheses,cooperative learning and other scientific thinking abilities have been improved.I hope to provide new teaching ideas and teaching strategies to front-line teachers of elementary school science,and to help cultivate
