The process of human's development is closely related to the development of science and technology,so it is essential to carry out science and technology education for children.Since 2017,new curriculum standard has been lowering the science curriculum starting grade to grade one,emphasizing the importance of science curriculum in primary school,and defining science curriculum in primary school as a basic,practical and comprehensive course.At this stage,there are still some problems in the actual teaching of primary school science curriculum,such as teaching method lack of enjoyment,students' learning initiative is not high.In order to improve the interest of the class and the initiative of students,this study adopts to integrating the challenge based game elements into the daily teaching of primary school science curriculum.This teaching method focuses on the gamified teaching under the challenge mechanism,emphasizing the challenge of the game form and the challenge of the learning content.In this study,three types of courses are designed,and documentation method is used to order my research's background,significance and theoretical basis,experimental research method and interviewing method are used to determine the effectiveness of this teaching method on students' learning initiative,students' understanding of new knowledge,students' memory of knowledge and teachers' classroom management.This paper mainly discusses the research content from the following six chapters.The first chapter,Introduction: the first part mainly describes the research background and significance,and through reading the literature to sorts out the development process of gamified teaching,domestic and foreign research situation and research content,further clarifies the significance of the research,and finally determines the research methods.Chapter two,Definition of concepts and theoretical basis: the second part firstly defines the main concepts involved in this study,including "gamified teaching" and "gamified teaching based on challenges" in this paper.Secondly,it combs the educational concepts,and summarizes the theoretical basis of pedagogy and psychology during the process of experimental research.Chapter three,Feasibility analysis: in the third part,the author read through the 2017 edition of “The standard of science curriculum in compulsory education Primary School”,summarized the requirements of the new curriculum standards for primary school science curriculum,and analyzed the current situation of primary school science curriculum by reading literature and interviewing school teachers,students' parents and students themselves,to determine the feasibility of the challenge game elements into the teaching and the key points in the design process.The fourth chapter,Teaching plan and implementation: according to the relevant theory and the actual situation of students,this paper designs three types of courses,which are to integrate the challenging competition,designing and role-playing game elements into the teaching.In the fourth part,the author formulates reasonable teaching design and test paper,determines the appropriate research object and carries on the experiment.The fifth chapter,Datas processing and analysis: In this part,the experimental results are digitized with scientific methods,and the data are processed with the corresponding tools,and the results are analyzed in detail,combined with the interview method and observation method to draw a conclusion.Chapter six,Conclusion and Prospect: finally,this chapter summarises the research results,draws conclusions,reflects on the deficiencies in the research process,and looks forward to the future of the research direction.Through a series of studies,it can be seen that integrating challenge based gamified elements into the daily teaching of primary school science,and designing the teaching process according to the characteristics of students and teaching materials will help improve students' learning initiative,help students retain knowledge,slow down forgetting,and improve class management.
