| At present,primary and secondary schools set up courses such as "Introduction to Algorithm and Programming" and "Introduction to Robotics".These courses are suitable for primary and secondary school students to intuitively operate and experience concepts and functions of objects,modules,control and execution,and feel programming ideas through the help of building block programming tools.In recent years,more and more attention has been paid to the concept of "edutainment",and the application effect of gamified learning has attracted the attention of education experts and primary school teachers.Gamified learning method has been widely recognized.Introducing game learning elementary programming class,the game or game elements,game design,game concept applied to the learning process,can effectively stimulate students’ interest in learning,learning motivation,improve learning efficiency,therefore,in this paper,the elementary school programming course of gaming has carried on the research and design the learning activities.First of all,starting from the actual teaching situation of the practice school,the current situation of programming learning in primary schools is investigated,and the deficiencies of the existing learning methods and learning preferences of primary students are understood,so as to discover and solve problems.Then,guided by the constructivism teaching model,the gamified learning activity process is designed by organically combining the two elements of learning and game,which includes five basic links: setting up a situation,clarifying tasks,creating works,communicating and sharing,and summarizing and evaluating.In addition,according to the learning content of Scratch course in primary school of the new curriculum standard,two small games are selected for analysis,and two specific learning activity cases are designed respectively.Meanwhile,corresponding game development and teaching courseware production are carried out to provide accurate resources and content for later practice.Finally,a quasi-experimental study was carried out with two classes of grade 5 in Y Primary School as the research objects.Experimental tools such as programming ability test questions,questionnaire and interview outline were used to analyze the students’ learning effect and further verify the effectiveness of gamified learning activities.Research shows that the gamified learning activities designed in this paper can help stimulate students’ interest in learning,cultivate students’ ability of collaboration and communication,and improve their learning results. |
