| Since the beginning of the 21 st century,research on core literacy has received widespread attention,and the demand for innovative talents has continued to increase.In this context,communication ability is particularly important as the basic competence in core literacy.It puts forward new requirements on how to cultivate the communication ability of elementary school students in basic education,and gamification teaching and STEAM education are the main ways to cultivate communication ability of elementary school students in China.This research uses literature research methods to investigate the current path of cultivating communication skills,the development of communication skills in gamification teaching and STEAM education,and proposes games for problems such as the lack of communication cultivating paths and emphasis on student communication skills in STEAM teaching.STEAM project-based teaching model,using experimental methods to carry out research on the impact of gamified STEAM project-based teaching on primary school students’ communication skills,interview teachers and students after the end of the teaching,and understand the teacher’s acceptance of gamified STEAM project-based teaching Analyze the change of students’ communication ability,aiming to improve the communication ability of primary school students through gamified STEAM project-based teaching.In this experimental study,students from two STEAM elective classes in the fourth grade of Wenzhou Yuying International Experimental School Primary School were used as research objects,and were divided into experimental group and control group.The experimental group uses gamified STEAM project-based teaching,and the control group uses STEAM project-based teaching.After the experiment,the experimental results are obtained through data analysis.After experimental and statistical tests,this study draws the following conclusions:(1)Gamified STEAM Project-based Teaching can improve pupils’ attitudes and motivations;(2)Gamified STEAM Project-based Teaching can enhance pupils’ communication ability. |
