The new era focuses on the development of students' core literacy.STEAM education,as an education mode conducive to the cultivation of students' core literacy and high-level ability,was an effective way to support the development of students' core literacy.Through the analysis,it is found that China's STEAM education have made some achievements,but the STEAM curriculum in the basic education stage still needs to be further developed.Therefore,this study took "flower" as the curriculum theme to develop and practiced the school-based curriculum of Flower under the STEAM education concept,enriched the STEAM curriculum resources of primary and secondary schools in China,and promoted the diversified development of school-based curriculum development,so as to provide reference for the school-based curriculum development under the STEAM education concept,This course development provided theoretical and practical reference.Based on the purpose of this study,through studying the relevant literature and materials,this study analyzed the STEAM curriculum cases and four classic curriculum development models at home and abroad,defined the STEAM curriculum elements and designed process based on project design,summarized the basic links and processes of school-based curriculum development,and integrated the two to build a new curriculum model under the STEAM education concept Flower of the school-based curriculum development model.Then,based on this model,the development and practice of school-based curriculum Flower was carried out based on Jinan S-middle school.Finally,a 21 hour school-based curriculum Flower was formed,which includes six parts: curriculum nature,curriculum concept,curriculum objectives,curriculum content,curriculum implementation and curriculum evaluation.In order to test the effectiveness of Flower,this study carried out a two-month curriculum practice,and evaluated the curriculum quality of school-based curriculum Flower based on the curriculum evaluation system.The conclusions were as follows:(1)The school-based curriculum Flower could improve students' interest and enthusiasm in biology learning to a certain extent,which was conducive to the development of students' STEAM literacy and multiple intelligences.(2)The school-based curriculum Flower was loved by the participating students and teachers,which had a certain promotion value.(3)There were still many deficiencies in the school-based curriculum.
