Chemistry plays an important leading role in the development of national economy, society and social culture, and plays an important guiding role in the research and solution of the problems of social human and natural environment, resources and ability. The Chemistry Curriculum Standards for General Senior High Schools(2017 Edition)officially issued by the Ministry of Education clearly puts forward the chemistry core literacy and clarifies the basic responsibility of moral education of chemistry core literacy. In STSE(Science Technology Society Environment)education, more attention is paid to the organic integration with the content of the textbook.Problems such as Environment,Science and economy are connected with the subject,so that students can acquire the cultivation of ability and thinking at the same time in the process of receiving education. This is consistent with the direction of China's new curriculum reform, but also fully embodies the basic ideas of China's new curriculum reform. Therefore, the STSE teaching practice based on core literacy, which closely combines chemical knowledge with social reality and promotes the development of Chinese students' core literacy in chemistry subject,is a direction of the current chemistry subject classroom reform. Therefore,on the basis of referring to relevant literature, this topic understands the current research situation of carrying out quality-based teaching and chemical core literacy under the STSE education concept.Questionnaire survey was conducted on some students and frontline teachers of a middle school in Fusong County in Baishan City of Jilin City to understand the status quo of STSE education and chemistry core literacy of teachers and students in the school. On this basis, the STSE education in the textbook "Simple Organic Compounds and Their Applications" published in PEP 2019 is reviewed and summarized."Organic compounds in life--ethanol" is selected as a teaching case to carry out teaching practice research centered on cultivating and improving students' core quality of chemistry. The paper mainly has five parts. The first part is the introduction, which explains the research background, research status, research content and method, research purpose and significance of the paper. The second part is the definition and theoretical basis of the related concepts. The third part is about the simple organic compounds and its application "of teachers and students in this part of the" STSE education to cultivate core literacy "in the concept of questionnaire investigation and results analysis, and the teachers and students understand wanting of survey content, the teacher of STSE education is not widely used, not about their chemical core literacy. The fourth part is based on the discovery of problems, the chemistry core literacy,STSE education concept into the "organic matter in life-ethanol" teaching design and practice, the teaching effect by paper and pencil test and evaluation of the way to collect and analyze. The results show that the paper and pencil test results of the experimental class are higher than those of the control class, and the average scores of the learning evaluation scale of the experimental class are higher than those of the control class in three aspects: self-evaluation,teacher evaluation and mutual evaluation.Students in the experimental class are very active in class, and their understanding of knowledge points and ability to solve practical problems are better than those in the control class. These results indicate that the core attainment-oriented STSE teaching practice can improve the quality of chemistry classroom teaching, enhance students' interest in learning chemistry, and promote students' core chemistry accomplishment.
