In recent years,with the steady development of economy,the catering industry in China has made sustained development,and the catering industry is developing towards the direction of scale.Many catering brands are no longer limited to their brand creation,but to the national direction of development.However,with the development of some restaurants,the management of catering personnel is becoming more and more difficult.At the same time of the overall development of the catering industry,the turnover rate of catering staff is high,and most employees have low recognition of their work,which leads to the low job satisfaction.At the same time,due to the low threshold of catering staff,many employees have a low level of professional awareness.This paper takes catering and its employees as the research object,divides the managers and grass-roots employees,and explores the motivation and reasons of employee turnover from the perspective of two kinds of employee job satisfaction.First of all,through the literature review method,combing the basic theory and concept of job satisfaction and turnover intention and their relationship.According to the special research object of catering,the dimension of job satisfaction is determined.The research hypothesis is put forward and the research model is constructed.Secondly,based on the previous literature,according to the results of employee interviews and the revision of the work satisfaction scale of the Chinese Academy of Sciences,a research questionnaire suitable for the catering industry was obtained.Most after that,the data of high star catering staff were collected by questionnaire survey,and the data were statistically analyzed by SPSS23.0 and AMOS23.0 software.through the data analysis,this paper verified the previous research hypothesis,and obtained the following research conclusions;This paper puts forward 13 research hypotheses.Through empirical research,the three dimensions of job satisfaction only have significant positive influence on organizational support,system satisfaction has no significant influence on organizational support,and three dimensions of job satisfaction have significant negative influence on turnover intention.As an important regulating variable,the exchange of leading members can significantly improve the effect of chefs job satisfaction on turnover intention.This kind of promotion effect is mainly reflected in the process of the influence of the management system and the working environment on the turnover intention,but there is no significant adjustment effect in the process of the influence of salary satisfaction on the turnover intention.There is no obvious difference in job satisfaction among cooks of different gender,different marital status and different age,and there are obvious differences in job satisfaction among cooks with different academic qualifications and different working years.There are no significant differences in the willingness of cooks of different sex and age,but there are significant differences in the willingness of cooks of different marital status,different educational background and different working age.The research of this paper can further enhance the job satisfaction of chefs in catering enterprises in Changsha,enhance their sense of organizational support,and then reduce their willingness to leave,and provide some theoretical reference for improving the efficiency of human resource management and market competitiveness of catering enterprises.
