The Impact Of Basketball Coaches' Transformational Leadership On Athletes' Job Satisfaction With Sense Of Belonging

With the continuous improvement of the status of basketball in China,the country is paying more and more attention to the cultivation of basketball talents.As a key role in the training of coaches,coaches often have a good coaching ability to directly determine the development of players.The coaching ability of the coach is not only professional ability but also strong leadership.Because the development of players is not only the improvement of the professional level,the psychological level should be paid more attention.The coach's leadership can just make up for the psychological needs of the players,thus promoting the overall development of the players.Therefore,coaches should receive a lot of attention to leadership.At present,the concept of leadership is combined with sports to conduct research,and the emerging theory of transformational leadership has become more and more frequent in recent years.Some scholars have also begun to apply transformational leadership to basketball.The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between the basketball coach's transformational leadership,the player's sense of belonging to the team and the player's job satisfaction,and to focus on the mediating role of the player's sense of belonging.This study used questionnaires,mathematical statistics and other research methods to study 170 college students majoring in basketball in Hubei Province.The study has found that coach's transformational leadership has a significant positive effect on player's job satisfaction;the coach's transformational leadership can positively predict the play's sense of belonging to the team;the player's sense of belonging has a significant positive effect on player's job satisfaction.In addition,the coach's transformational leadership can affect the player's job satisfaction through the mediation of athletes' sense of belonging.
