Mathematical expression ability refers to the ability to express one's understanding,thinking and emotion based on the problem situation and using appropriate mathematical language in mathematics learning.As one of the three key abilities,"expression" is the highest embodiment and comprehensive reflection of learning ability.As far as students are concerned,through expression,they can satisfy their desire for expression,stimulate their motivation,activate their knowledge and promote deep learning;as far as teachers are concerned,through expression,students can expose their cognitive errors in time,and teachers can correct them in time to guide the direction of further teaching activities;as far as collective learning is concerned,through expression,they can promote communication,so as to achieve sharing and progress.In this context,more and more teachers and scholars begin to pay attention to the related research of mathematical expression ability,but most of the research results are concentrated in the early and high school stage,lack of systematic countermeasures.Based on this,the research focuses on two main problems;(1)the current situation of primary school students' mathematical expression,including:? what are the problems of primary school students' mathematical expression ability?? What are the causes of the above problems?(2)How to improve the mathematical expression ability of primary school students.Through literature review,questionnaire survey,interview,test and other methods,the following conclusions are obtained;First,through the analysis of the questionnaire and test paper,it is found that there are some problems in the mathematical expression of senior primary school students,such as weak desire to express,not willing to express,not daring to express;poor expression ability,not rigorous words,not concise expression,logical level confusion;and even do not know how to express.The reasons for the above problems include:emphasis on written expression,light language expression in teaching activities;emphasis on the presentation of results,light expression of ideas or emotions;teachers have awareness of training,but poor action ability,etc.Second,starting from the existing problems,based on the connotation of core literacy,the teaching of moral education,the concept of teaching by learning;the principles of intuition,capacity and inspiration;the learning pyramid,learning community and Feynman learning method theory,this paper puts forward some countermeasures to improve the mathematics expression ability of primary school senior students.The countermeasures include four links:(1)choose the goal,and the teacher chooses the content to express according to the current situation;(2)express independently,and the students try to express their thinking after class;(3)cooperate with the research,organize the students to be "little teachers" in the classroom,and discuss the questions or mistakes that the students encounter in the expression;(4)optimize the expression,and summarize them into four parts Brief,rigorous and logical mathematical expression.In short,this study analyzes the connotation and value of mathematical expression and its ability from the theoretical level;discusses the current situation and reasons of primary school students' mathematical expression ability from the practical level,puts forward the improvement countermeasures,and provides the application examples of the improvement countermeasures.It can provide a reference for the research of mathematics expression ability of primary school senior students,and also provide specific and implementable countermeasures for the front-line teachers.
