The ability of mathematical speech expression refers to the ability of students to mathematicize natural language and express implicit mathematical thinking activities and cognitive structure as explicit mathematical cognitive results.The ability of mathematical speech expression can improve the ability of mathematical thinking and understanding.Nowadays,more and more mathematics teaching attaches importance to guiding students to be diligent in "saying" Mathematics and dare to "say" thinking.The cultivation of mathematics speech ability has become an important content of classroom teaching.In the "curriculum objective" part of the mathematics curriculum standard of compulsory education(2011 Edition),it is clearly required that the students in the second learning stage(grade 4-6)should "develop reasonable reasoning ability in observation,experiment,conjecture,verification and other activities,be able to think in an organized way,and be able to express their thinking process and results clearly.What is the current situation of the development of the ability of mathematical speech expression of senior pupils? How should teachers develop students' ability of mathematical speech expression in teaching?In this study,senior primary school students are taken as the object to investigate the current situation and problems of their development of mathematical speech ability,and to put forward targeted suggestions.Firstly,this study uses literature method to sort out the current research situation of mathematical speech expression ability at home and abroad,Then through classroom teaching observation,questionnaire survey,interview and other ways to investigate the current situation of mathematics speech expression ability of senior students of J primary school in Anqing City,and combined with the analysis of classroom teaching examples to reveal the problems and reasons of the mathematical speech expression ability of primary school students.It is found that there are some problems in the current senior pupils' ability of mathematical speech expression,such as the difficulty in the conversion between mathematical problems and mathematical knowledge,the lack of mastery of mathematical language,and the weak combination of natural language and mathematical language.The reasons for these problems include:(1)the limitation of students' thinking level and the misunderstanding of mathematics learning;(2)the teacher has not fully played a leading role in the cultivation of students' mathematics speech expression ability,which is manifested in three aspects: the lack of understanding of the importance of mathematics speech expression ability;the lack of demonstration of speech expression;the single and traditional training strategy.In view of the above problems and reasons,this study puts forward three teaching suggestions: first,pay attention to the cultivation of mathematical speech ability,consolidate the foundation of mathematical speech expression;second,create a good classroom expression environment,strengthen the demonstration of teachers' mathematical speech expression;finally,enrich the learning evaluation methods,and encourage students' mathematical speech expression.
