In the past two years, the state has taken the normalization of compulsory education to prevent school dropouts as an important part of education for poverty alleviation.Statistics show that from the beginning of 2019 to June 2020,the number of students who dropped out of school dropped from 600,000 to less than 10,000.Although my country has made significant progress in the control of dropouts and school protection, the current implementation of related work relies only on administrative power. In addition, how to prevent the increase and rebound of dropouts of students in deeply impoverished areas h as become a severe test facing the current work of controlling dropouts. To this end, clarifying the reasons for adolescents'dropout from the family perspective will help consolidate the results of the current work on dropout control, create a dual logic of administrative external control remedy and family internal control prevention, and provide an important grasp for establishing a long-term mechanism for dropout control hand.In order to obtain high-quality educational resources, families often increase their children's educational investment, mainly in two ways:monetary resources and nonmonetary resources(such as educational concepts and educational energy investment,etc.).Scholars' previous studies on the factors affecting rural youth dropouts mostly start from the perspective of monetary resources. This paper borrows the concept of cultural capital proposed by Bourdieu, measures the non-monetary educational resources in family education investment into four dimensions of parents' education level, educational expectation, cultural atmosphere, and family interaction, and studies the impact of family cultural capital on teenagers' dropouts. It also conducts a test of urban-rural and gender heterogeneity, and finally explores the impact of family cultural capital on hidden dropouts, and puts forward scientific suggestions for the establishment of a long-term educational poverty alleviation mechanism. After analyzing the status quo and empirical testing, this article mainly draws the following conclusions:(1)In the analysis part of the status quo of family status and the distribution of family cultural capital, descriptive analysis found that families with higher income levels and at least one parent with party membership status have higher parental education, educational expectations, cultural atmosphere, and family interaction frequency.;With the improvement of parents' education, educational expectations and cultural atmosphere have also increased.(2)In the analysis of the status quo of adolescents' dropout in China, through descriptive analysis,it is found that the dropout rate of adolescents has gradually increased with age, mainly concentrated between 15-18 year-olds;the dropout rate of boys is significantly higher than that of girls. The analysis of the reasons shows that the proportion of girls who drop out of school due to financial difficulties is higher than that of boys, and the proportion of boys who drop out of school due to weariness is higher than that of girls. From a regional perspective, the dropout rate of rural samples is higher than that of urban samples, and the dropout rate of boys in rural areas is higher. The highest, followed by rural girls, urban boys, and urban girls. The western region has the highest drop-out rate, followed by the northeast, central, and eastern, regions.Compared with the adolescents who did not drop out,the total family income of dropout teenagers and the highest education level of their parents,Educational expectations, cultural atmosphere, and the frequency of family interactions are obviously low,and families whose parents are not party members account for a relatively large proportion.(3)The empirical analysis part mainly draws the following conclusions:?In general, parents' educational level, educational expectation, cultural atmosphere, and family interaction frequency are significant obstacles to the occurrence of teenagers'dropout behavior. When other factors remain unchanged, urban Adolescents have a lower dropout risk than rural teenagers, and boys have a higher dropout risk than girls.?In terms of urban-rural heterogeneity, cultural climate indicators are more significant in rural samples, but not in urban samples.? In terms of gender heterogeneity, educational expectations and cultural atmosphere indicators are more significant in the female sample, but not in the male sample;family interaction indicators are more significant in the male sample, but not significant in the female sample.? In the return of recessive dropouts,it was found that higher fathers' years of education and educational expectations can significantly improve their children's fear of exams;parents' reasonable educational expectations significantly increase their children's satisfaction with the school;parents' reasonable educational expectations, good Family interaction helps to improve the degree of children's hard work;the lower the father's years of education, the lower the educational expectation, and the worse the family cultural atmosphere, the more likely it is for children to become afraid of school homework.Based on the research conclusions of this article, the following policy recommendations are put forward:first, parents should actively improve their own human capital accumulation level;second, establish correct educational expectations and school-age children's awareness of the obligation to go to school;third, actively increase education involvement,Increase parent-child reading, communication, and increase the frequency of family interaction;fourth,by regularly buying books and school supplies, create a good learning atmosphere for children.
